Conclusion: I have to imagine that building a board like the G1.Sniper 5 is a lot of fun for a product team. The limits? limits? Instead of having to start from the top and whittle the feature-set down in order to fit a specific price-point, the G1.Sniper 5 instead includes extras on top of it all. Simply put, this board is .
Summary: Just got this board today and won't have a chance to test it out as I've not received my CPU or RAM yet. That said, the reason I'm posting here now is because I wont to point out that the first image, as of today (18 November 2013) is the wrong image for this product. The first image shows the old LGA 1366 chipset (i7-900 series processor) MB. The second image IS the correct image of this motherboard. In short this IS a G1.
Summary: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor I wasn't going to get the 4770K but then decided to give in. As always, it comes with a worthless paperweight that looks somewhat like a heatsink. I would rather it not come with that so they could lower the price a little bit. Besides that it works like a champ. No problems so far with my computer.
Summary: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor I had to rebuild my gaming machine due to a failed motherboard and power supply, so I coupled this CPU with the ASUS Z87-A Motherboard, and it screams! I could not be more pleased with the performance and stamina of my new machine! I threw everything I could at it, and it shrugged it all off like it was nothing. I am a happy guy!
Summary: I've had this board for the past few weeks and I cannot even begin to describe how many great features it has! Also, the build quality of the PCB and its army of components are awesome. It is by far the best built mobo that I've ever owned. The green is or very close to the same shade has a GTX logo, which I like. Handles OCing like a champ, sound is freaking excellent, has a plx chip, dual bios, the list could go on & on.
Summary: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor My new build consisting of a HAF-932 case ASUS Z87-Plus MB, 16GB of Crucial Memory screams. The problem I am having is a random timeout of the HDMI output to the LCD TV I am using that brings everything to a screaming halt. Vid freezes and Keyboard inputs end, only way out is to reboot and wait for it to strike again... Feel the processor may have an issue although it passes all checks..
