Summary: The Gigabyte Technology G1.Assassin rev. 1.0 (GA-G1.ASSASSIN) Motherboard is a solid board capable of outstanding computing. Greatest strength: fast speeds, reliable technology, excellent look, great expandability. My PCI slots are getting at least 5GB/s. Easily overclocked.
Summary: Best deal ever. The price was the best on the internet, and then I got an $80 rebate on top of that. At that price, I should have bought two, kept one and sell the other! Would have been a moneymaker
Summary: This motherboard is the best gaming motherboard on the x58 platform. Gigabyte delivers in every conceivable way in making this motherboard do exactly what it was made for. AS long as you are buying this board for the right reasons and you actually read the specifications you should be fine.

Summary: Lots of good features. This motherboard has a major issue with not detecting IDE drives during boot up. It takes at five minutes for it to boot up. Gigabyte has a BIOS flash that they say fixes the problem but flashing a motherboard is dangerous and you can toast it if something goes wrong while...
Summary: If you are a fan of Gigabyte, This is the best gaming motherboard they are offering up to this date ! BUT BE CAREFUL: This is a big motherboard and it will not fit in any case. XL ATX Form Factor case only This is a list of XL ATX cases: 1)Lian Li: PC-P80, PC-P80R.
Summary: This motherboard has tons of features, but make sure you check your case before purchasing it. The G1.Assassin is a nonstandard size and would not fit in my standard Full ATX case. Gigabyte has a list of compatible cases on its web site.
