Summary: I picked up this NEW EVGA Z68 FTW 160-SB-E689-KR for the incredibly low price of $60. I did not read any of the reviews at the time I purchased this motherboard because the price was so good, and I have never had a problem with EVGA products in the past.
Summary: Unless you are one of the lucky few, the MB will probably create extensive frustration. When it works, it is the fastest MB I've ever seen. It is picky about what is used with it; of 7 PSUs, only 2 worked with it, older DDR3 memory isn't liked either.
Summary: Great motherboard chock full of features built by a cmpany known for manufacturing quality products. Get the right CPU< RAM, ang GPU's, and yoy can have a field day just overclocking this board to frequencies that while stable, are also very high. Technical support is 24/7 and bar none.
Summary: Obviously the other two reviews are from inexperienced builders. This is a very fast, powerful motherboard, when it is equipped with the right cpu, video card, memory, cooling, and high cache HDD,SSD drives. Using Windows7, it will boot to desktop within 15-20 seconds, and shutdown within 10.
Summary: First off let me get this out of the way... I am an EVGA fanboy! No, I hooked this thing up and popped in my i7 2600k and all the other components and poof started right up and runs like a champ.
evga boards are crap this makes the second one i have tried

Summary: stay away from this board it died after 3 days the 1st day the usb's stopped working then i rebooted it about 10 times then they came back. the i installed my drivers for my printer and rebooted and never worked again
Summary: EVGA has been known for many years for their good product. I understand that here and there you might have some problems and defected items. I bought this MOBO from Amazon. 10/10 to Amazon as always. You need to go on EVGA website and Reg. this product for their awesome support.
Summary: a PCI 16x expansion slot took a crap - the one with my vid card in it. so i moved it to the last 16x slot (closest to the CMOS reset button). if that slot goes up, i'll send the board back. i will say that EVGA tech support was good and helped in resolving the problem.
