Summary: A few months after having this MOBO, the USB connections are starting to fail. Sometimes when certain USB ports are occupied, others decide not to work. It's very strange and becoming quite the nuisance.

Summary: EVGA X79 Dark GPU slot get error not working power seems weak. the EVGA X79 Dark bios team must go away forever Now i have to pay a Tech. hell my ASUS X79 Black is allot better. am i mad very mad very Sad. what should i do. with this DEAD SLOT it works in X8 my PSU IS EVGA 1000 PS. memory shows fine. what do i like so far nothing.
Summary: This X79 fails soooooo hard.@the terrible Bios that doesn't work! Don't waste your money, as I returned it after just 15 days of agony!!! My old MSi Z68A put this deck to shame when it came to everything working as intended. No SSD caching?? Are you kidding?? PCi-e 3.0 doesn't work, what a pile of junk!!!! Went back to Msi, as they never produce bad boards like this one.
Summary: BIOS is a joke. System has locked up five(5) times, restarting system would not fix it, had to reinstall the operating system each time to fix the problem. Motherboard, CPU, Graphic Card all rated PCIE 3.0 x 16, can only get PCIE 2.0 x 16. EVGA support is something else, don't think they really care about the problems with the board.
Mediocre Motherboard, it does the job but why to hasle when you have many other brands outhere?

Summary: First of all, I bough this motherboard in AMAZON some months ago and after my frustration i decided to do a balanced review, and i did it, but guess what, EVGA didn't like it and sent a Paid Employee simulating being a amazon user, and this person insulted me and call me an overclocking noob and told i won't even deserve to have so precious motherboard.
Summary: i Receive This MotherBoard And This Thing Does not work..!! And Even You Receive it Work..The MB Had a Million Issue..!! USB 3..RAID 0..CPU OVERCOLCK..Bios And More Problem..!! At The End..Worst MotherBoard Ever..!! .
Summary: Where do I begin? Go to the manufacturer's forum on this board. Loads of features, unfortunately it would be nice if they worked. Half baked BIOS/EFI implementation, poor slot layout, reboot loops, Erratum galore that everyone says "Wait for the X79 Dark" with no firm release date or step up program. This was across an i7 3820 and a 3930k. Latest BIOS.
Summary: After completing all of the requirements both on-line and by mail, my $30 rebate was denied. 7/14/2013 3:40:32 PM Claim Created 7/14/2013 3:52:39 PM Claim Completed, Awaiting Receipt of Documentation 7/18/2013 8:08:22 PM Documentation Received View Documentation 7/24/2013 8:20:31 PM Claim Declined - Purchase date 06/30/2013 is outside offer's time frame So, after doing all of this work to obtain my $30 rebate, it was denied by EVGA.
Summary: I want to start off by saying, im a 20+ year system builder. I bought this to replace a dead Rampage 4 Extreme Unfortunately mine was doa, spent 2 hours on the phone with evga support, who were less than knowledgeable, to tell the me the board was bad, because it wouldnt power on, and rma was never even offered, WOW really.
Summary: I have been a fan of EVGA for years and have only purchased their motherboards. On this latest build, I hesitated initially to purchase EVGA x79 based on many of the reviews I viewed online with people stating problems with bad products showing up DOA or bad BIOS chips. However, after posting on their forums and being reassured by some users that these issues had been resolved, I went ahead and ordered an EVGA X79 SLI board directly from EVGA.
