Very Solid but one flaw...

  • Summary: I do like the MB, very solid. A lot of extras on the board, love this large x58. One concern that I have with this is that I have 24GB of ram installed, it reads 24GB (16GB usable). I have a GTX 670, i7980x 24gb ram and this runs like a beast! I do love it. Just wondering what is going on with the unusable ram. Nothing online works. No bent pins. This is the BEST x58 board on the market, unless you have an XL case I would get the g1 assassin. But only for a XL case.

EVGA is Rock Solid

Rich, Amazon

  • Summary: I ordered this board and unfortunately never received it from the vendor due to stock issues, however I did in fact get the board direct from EVGA as a replacement for my original EVGA x58 that developed a problem with the usb ports. EVGA replaced the board for me under the lifetime warranty. Their tech support and customer support are second to none. I needed this board to salvage my i7-920 cpu.

EVGA = Quality

  • Summary: For years I avoided EVGA products. While I was aware that they are a respected company, they always seemed a little pricey. I bit the bullet last year and bought a GTX 480 from them. Smartest move I made. 3 months after I bought that card the 580 came out and EVGA replaced it for free *they have a 90 day policy that if a new version of a board comes out in that time you can return it and they'll send you the newest version." You just can't beat that kind of service.
