Summary: Other surprises came in the form of weak SATA performance on both motherboards, and although the margins were not huge, they did stand out compared to the Asus and MSI X58 boards. The network throughput was also weaker on the DFI boards when compared to the competition.

Conclusion: The enthusiast computer user is definitely hard to please. The competition in the market is fierce and this has led to manufacturers really having to step up their game in order to compete. The introduction of the Intel Core i7 has created a motherboard feeding frenzy.
Pros: Typical DFI quality from build to BIOS, All the onboard features enthusiast overclockers are looking for in a motherboard, Great overclocks on both CPU and memory, with very little effort and no frustration, A color scheme that makes the board stand out from the crowd in the light or dark, Among ...
Cons: The memory BIOS options were not up to the LanParty standard in our opinion, The fan less MB cooling showed signs of needing some help from case cooling in our thermal testing, As much a positive as the color scheme is, some people just aren't going to like yellow and green

Conclusion: At around US$300, the DFI is the most affordable of the four enthusiast motherboards that we have reviewed. And it's also priced fairly, with its feature list probably the weakest of the four (relatively speaking).
Summary: DFI Lanparty fremstår som et solid og godt hovedkort, som med sine spreke farger skiller seg ut fra mengden. Kortet har en meget god layout, og tilbyr mange tilkoblingsmuligheter.
