  • Conclusion: I really don't think that there's anything that I can say at this point that you yourself probably aren't already thinking.  It would seem that although it was over half a year in the making, the "a" update of the KT400 chipset, aside from the addition of some new features, still suffers from the same performance problems of the original.

DFI KT400A LanParty Motherboard Review

  • Conclusion: Chaintech NFORCE2 pulls out in front completing the project 2 minutes ahead of the pack. The Gigabyte KT400A chipset pulls in second but the overall scores are acceptably close. Overclocking The DFI KT400A LanParty is rivaled by the Chaintech 7NJS Zenith NFORCE2 package. Both are within a few dollars of each other.

  • Conclusion: UPDATED! We received a new BIOS for the board after the review. Performance increased a lot and you can find all the graphs here.
  • Pros: + Versatile features, + Impressive appearance, + Bundle, + Passive cooling on north bridge, + Bios
