Summary: 5 Out of 5 Bought this in Aug. of 2006 from NewEgg with a P4 3Ghz Processor as a combo deal. And in this case, many of the peripherals were bought from AMAZON.COM As of 06/20/2012, This project is still going strong.
Summary: I've used this mobo in a budget gaming rig for many years, didn't give me any problems at all. I was able to update the BIOS without any issues, ran Windows XP smoothly. Won't except a lot of RAM, but it is an old board... was great back in the day.
Summary: BIOSTAR used supply solid computer components. You could count on them to work. THEY NOW SELL JUNK! Not worth the risk; customer service is spotty at best, and when you DO finally get them to respond, they look for reasons NOT to allow RMA!
Summary: i bought this mb a couple years ago, it work but very slow! 1 year after buying it it stoped decting my hard drive so i got another one still didn't work i changed everything but nothing worked so my advice to every one out there DON"T BUY BIOSTAR!!!!! DON"T DO IT MAN, DON"T DO IT!
Summary: That was the length of time, the mobo lasted. I replaced it 2 months after install, no warning just cuts out. I spent another 270 having the mobo replaced and installed and lasted from 10/08 to present. I would not go for this board if you want it to last longer than 2 years.
Summary: For the first time I use a 478 socket intel processor 3.2 Gh.in an Intel motherboard. Then I found this BIOSTAR MoBo in a marketplace store about 2 years ago, I use it until it dies (maybe a damage from a brownout). browsing AMAZON.COM found the same MoBo, but the reviews were not so good.
Summary: This is a very good motherboard. I had an old PC that was not working so I decided to replace the motherboard. I took the old motherboard out of the case salvaged all of the parts especially the CPU and I got some DDR2 memory for a reasonable price.
