Summary: I was really excited for this board, but board came with only 2 of the RAM slots working. Yes I tried usual suite of tests including troubleshooting with Asus support, and A1 and A2 do not work, after searching internet I did find others with similar issues. I really was hoping it wasn't the board because i wanted to keep it and tried everything in my power to make the slots work but unfortunately it was the board.

Summary: I bought this motherboard to upgrade my 6 year old computer system. I wanted to go with high end components and didn't mind paying a bit more to get them. This motherboard was part of that purchase. The specs were great and reviews of ASUS have been great as well. This motherboard was paired with 32GB 2400MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel 4770k processor, ATI R9 290x video card, and Corsair AX860i power supply. Everything was purchased from Amazon (I love Amazon Prime).
Summary: I got this board to build my new desktop around it. I used I7-4770K, Corsair ddr3 2133mhz ram Corsair Atx 760W PSU Geforce 780 TWF doublw ACX graphic card and other components The motherboard didnt power up at all at first after disconecting all components the motherboard finally booted and remained completely functional for 2 hrs as i installed all the softwares. after 2 hrs the same problem returned and the motherboard didnt power up again.
Summary: I purchased this motherboard so a dear friend could custom-build a computer for me. The first one turned out to be defective, so I returned it and got a replacement. My friend installed that one and now *that* one is bad too. This is a man who knows his computers (in fact, works with them all day long, and has custom-built my computers for the past 15 years with no problems). Asus used to be the creme de la creme as far as MBs go. Not any more, apparently.
Tried two boards, one DOA the other failed on driver install
26 August 2013
Summary: I'm not to happy at all with this board. The first was DOA, code 76, and the second booted fine, found ram find but black screened on first driver install, code 8E. It also toasted a new Asus gtx760, so that's in for an RMA. Don't know if my three year old Raptor 10k hard drive also failing was coincidence but it's in the trash now. So I'll be on my third board and I don't trust the model at this point. Not to mention the time and money I'm out.
