Summary: Do a web search and you will find out more about the clock problem. Many are experiencing the same difficulty.
Pros: It's ASUS, that should say a lot. It's a beautiful board, lots of connections and very easy to overclock.
Cons: The BIOS clock is a problem and ASUS support is non existent. The best suggestion they've given me is to replace the CMOS battery. That works for a month or so but then the clock stops again. This is a genuine concern and I would not purchase this board knowing the problem.
Cons: So I started having this problem where when I installed my video card drivers. I restart and it would boot up like it was working. Get to the windows logo, right soon as it would go into windows. It went black. then the monitor went to standby like it wasnt plugged in. Its like soon as has those ...
Summary: I deducted 1 egg for the faulty board and another for Newegg's policy. I was unable to RMA the board due to Newegg's RMA policy. I understand I purchased the board more than 30 days ago(November) but I was not able to build the system until now.
Pros: I've always used ASUS motherboards in all of my builds and never had any major issues. Most of my boards I have used have been TUF boards due to their certified testing and durable components.
Cons: RAM slots A1 and A2 did not work. The DRAM led came on every time no matter what memory I threw at it! I was able to boot and install windows with one stick either in B1 or B2. I Updated the BIOS and still no luck with A1 or A2.
Summary: After installation the board refused to post leaving me with no lit LEDs as an explanation besides the green power ready LED. The only red LEDs to light were the GPU and boot device, however they only lit briefly during start up.
Pros: Received my order as quickly as expected, motherboard looks great, and feels sturdy in hand. The board was easy to work on, and I was never concerned about it being damaged during installation.
Cons: Board or CPU/or both appear to be DOA, and have RMA'd since a few days ago. Waiting for RMA is painful...will update with results later.
Summary: I love this motherboard, my computer is a beast and I love it. Unfortunately the motherboard will only recognize one hard drive at a time. I've checked everything three times over and it all leads back to the motherboard.
