Great performer, but has a weird issue with some keyboards

Summary: This motherboard definitely preforms well. That's where the pros end. Since I got the motherboard I was never able to boot directly into Windows (secure boot on/off, UEFI install of Windows or not, GTP or MBR) which was annoying considering Windows 8 by default likes to reboot all by itself. I tried different drives from SSDs (OCZ and Samsung) to HDD (Western Digital to Samsung). I simply couldn't get it to work.
Summary: Asustek is king and the sooner you learn that the better off you will be. Asus has made quality components and systems for years. They are reliable and so far customer service has been satisfactory.
Stay FAR AWAY from ASUS products if you use USB 3.0

Summary: We build 2 systems based off this MB. We wanted something that was solid and reliable. Have not even attempt to OC this board. Both systems crash constantly when you use the USB 3.0. We save our work and hold our breath when we plug in the devices. We have tried all the work around's, drivers etc. Sad that you need to spend days looking for a driver and told not to use the driver on the ASUS web site.
Summary: I suppose this isn't Asus' fault but I (incorrectly) assumed that any modern motherboard is going to work with the most recent distribution of Debian Linux. The integrated Intel Ethernet adapter is not auto-detected .... nor are the impromptu USB and PCIe network adapters I purchased for the Z87 in the hopes of finding a temporary workaround. In the last 15 years this is the first Linux installation I've tried that didn't find the network card.
Summary: I've installed many motherboards through the years, many more expensive than this one. However, this board is the best in terms of stability, setup, hardware connectivity and features of any I've dealt with. Very well designed and with Asus quality should last longer than most. It was not purchased for gaming. I just wanted a board that would run well and not be outdated anytime soon. Time will tell. But I like what I see. Using it with the I-5 processor.
Summary: Been building my own PC for quite some years now. And let me tell you! This was the easiest Mobo to setup. I love the fact that it's reinforced too, and it's kool looking. Here is what I've added to the board. Intel i7-4770K Cpu. Corsair Water-Cooler 100i. "Reading previous reviews, I didn't use the Corsair Fans, Instead I used 2 Noctua NF-F12 Fans" 32 Gigs of Corsair Vengeance..
