Summary: So i sent it in for repair stating all symptoms, RMA USPC5A3614, and it came back with the sound fixed. THAT'S IT!! Only the sound. I called in, somebody told me there's no note for any other repair then the sound.
Pros: Thermal Radar is great(controls how loud/cool your pc gets without extra$$$).... everything else in ai suite is "ok". Solid built...
Cons: RELIABILITY(the reason you pay 250$) onboard sound failed after 1.5 years one usb header needs to be reseated every once a week to be recognized... Its not permanent broken Same goes for 2 sata ports i connect one of my 2tb hdd Memory runs at 1333mhz after "mem ok" is pressed. Any attempt to chan...
Summary: I wish I could write nice things about this product, but I can't. ASUS has lost me as a customer. I'm experiencing freezing, stuttering, and stalling. I've been working with EVGA on a diagnostic tree, wondering if it was my graphics card that was having an issue.
Summary: I purchased this item December 20, 2012. This motherboard only lasted till June 20, 2014 till it stopped booting up. I have researched and the most plausible reason is because it cannot handle the new Geforce video cards from 760 up to 780.
Summary: EDIT: After several weeks of use I started having intermittent HDD issues where the BIOS would loose one or all of 5 HDD's plugged into the system. And they sometimes would not come back until power is completely removed from the MOBO. (Excluding CMOS).
CORRECTION! My previous review for an X58, but who cares? It's all ASUS mobos, apparently.

Summary: Not with a 30' pole.
Pros: None, really. A product working as it's supposed to for a year or two is not a pro. It's expected.
Cons: My previous review was for the Sabertooth X58 motherboard. Apparently it no longer even exists. I also own this mobo. It's great to know it will meet the same fate as my X58. Don't buy either. I'll never touch ASUS again.
Warning! Only good for 3 years max. Warranty will not be honored.

Summary: The only reason I imagine someone would buy this board is their decision to also purchase an odd socket i7 like I did. My advice would be to get a "normal" i7, a comparable board with dual or quad channel RAM, and much less headaches.
Pros: Great motherboard, for 2 - 3 years. It has a 5 year (parts and service) warranty, so I'm not sure this is actually a pro.
Cons: It dies after 2 - 3 years, usually taking whatever video adapter is in the primary slot with it. In my case an ASUS 660 Ti, which I've also had HELL replacing. If you return the product (which support will try vehemently to assure never happens), it will be returned to you without being touched. ...
Pros: Worked for about 3 years on a 5 year warranty. Randomly died one day. Fans would spin and everything would power on but no boot. Replaced cpu, ram, psu checked faulty power button wires etc before sending in board.
Cons: Customer service gives you a horrible run around. I sent my board back in Jan 14', took until the end of January to get it back. I get a "refurbished" board back that was in worse shape than my original with warped out mounting holes, scratched surfaces and my tough armor fans were not returned. ...
Summary: Don't waste your time or money on this company.
Pros: I have no idea, It came out of the box a lemon.
Cons: I have been dealing with this for weeks, Not one but TWO asus mother boards crapped out in a year, I have been dealing with this for weeks, first, they sent me only one form..so I went on their site and dl'd another sent it in..days later they contacted me to let me know i did not submit the righ...
Cons: Did not work out of the box and ASUS has horrible customer service, do not purchase products from this unreliable and very poor company. Those who have gotten a good product from this company are lucky. Notice how quickly this board become unavailable.
Summary: Asus products are generally great until they fail, then you'll get more satisfaction from a baseball bat to youre hardware than any of their employees
Pros: Absolutely everything for the first year
Cons: After that first year; however, the computer would freeze up after a random amount of time. and progressively got worse beginning in October 2013. I have been working on this very same issue since October and it has yet to be resolved due to asus' incompetent, inefficient service. I received a bo...
