Summary: This was my first build in 10 years. The board works great and is everything I had expected when I made the purchase. The technical support was great. Although it occasionally took me about 15 - 20 minutes to reach a person at ASUS, they were very knowledgeable and always resolved the issue. I am using the board as it came out of the box with an i7 3930 CPU. I was a little disappointed that it did not have a 1394 connection for the input for the front panel on the case.
Summary: While the price may push casual PC builders away you get what you pay for. Overclocking with this motherboard is incredibly easy, as are bios updates. I don't know why the extra heat sink fan isn't installed by the factory, but it's simple to install. The memory DIMMs are well spaced and far enough from the CPU to still be useful. There is also perfect spacing for GTX 770s. The only problem you need to address when overclocking with this motherboard is the vcore.
Summary: This Mobo is a very High-Tech piece of art! This motherboard has a very well made Bios even update-able. I've had this for over a year now in the computer I built, and it runs seamless. It is currently holding 64GB of DDR3 Vengeance RAM and hasn't failed me. I recommend this to anyone looking to put the new LGA 2011 intel processor, especially the 3960x or 3970x intel unlocked processor.
Summary: I recently purchased this motherboard and have no complaints It looks and operates amazingly the only thing I wish was a little better was the packaging just because it is difficult to reclose the box when waiting for other parts

Summary: I built a new desktop using this ASUS motherboard. I have been getting all of the components installed and have it up and running now, 4 months after buying the motherboard. I am very pleased with it and the service I got from both Amazon and the supplier, PC Parts Depot. It is cutting edge or as close to the edge as I want and makes a very good base for a gaming computer or for any use. It has the newest processor that is stable and can have loads of RAM.
Summary: I also wish the VRM came with a heatsink fan of some sort, because some users don't use CPU fans that might naturally create airflow to the VRM heatsinks.
Pros: Outstanding Motherboard. Very well-built, excellent quality, cooling of I/O panel, solid VRM heatsinks, tons of OC options in the BIOS. Lots of SATA cables included (AWESOME), sturdy caps, and overall clean mobo setup.
Cons: I wish there had been some type of inclusion in the motherboard user manual or even an added "slip" of paper that mentioned the CPU might downclock if power limit settings weren't adjusted. I spent hours researching the net trying to find out why my CPU was downclocking. I mean, literally sitting here so frustrated to why my CPU would not hit the wall of factory turbo speed and would all of a sudden downclock from 4GHz to 3.5GHz and lower. I searched YouTube, asked ma...
