  • Summary: I'm not one who writes reviews, but in this case I feel compelled to. This is a GREAT motherboard. I have been working on/building computers for years and this is one of the nicest motherboards I have ever worked on. The BIOS is easy to use and has lots of great features. The thing that I love the most about this mobo (so far) is the Q-LED lights. These indicate problems with attached hardware like the CPU, RAM, etc.

  • Summary: This board is brutal. I mean I have overclocked my core I7 quad core to 4.6 GHz and have been running it with only air cooling and it is working like a charm. This board is everything I was looking for and more.

Excellent product with great features

  • Summary: Bought this board to fix a water damaged Alienware Aurora R4. This is an amazingly sturdy board that screams quality. The BIOS is top notch, easy to navigate and has very detailed overclocking abilities. The built in power and reset buttons are very handy while troubleshooting. To save yourself a lot of frustration, if you're installing windows from a USB device, make sure that the USB device is formatted to FAT32 as NTFS will not work.

4.5GHZ was so darn easy!

Johnnie Norsworthy, Amazon
7 July 2014
  • Summary: I had to flash the BIOS to accommodate my i7-4930. If you need to do this it should be done BEFORE installing the CPU. Instructions can be found on the internet. I opted for 32GB of quad channel RAM for my machine. I have had it a few weeks now and it has been a great motherboard with unexpected performance by using the included AI Suite clocking utility. The utility suggested I set my system at 4.5GHZ and one click later that is what I have.

If you got the money best definitely best LGA 2011 motherboard you can buy

  • Summary: Wickedly fast and runs cool to boot. How can you not give a motherboard that let's you overclock your CPU to 4.5 on air without any effort! Just stuck it in my new Asus Rampage IV Gene microATX 2011 mobo and stuck a cooler master Hyper 212 Evo on it and let ROG's CPU Level Up go to work and instant 4.5 on air! And even at this speed the cpu speed still only get's up to 38C!

  • Summary: Once you press the "GO" button, I was on my way. ASUS MBs are very good. I've built at least six platforms using ASUS. Will stick with them for the next one.
