Great Motherboard, disabled the bluetooth early on and have never had issues with the board since

Paul W., Newegg
5 March 2016
  • Summary: Yes I would recommend this to you, if you are interested in getting a serious motherboard.
  • Pros: Supported my needs to edit video, create and render motion graphics as well as game relentlessly in between for years now. This was my first real motherboard i have owned in a long line of motherboards. i purchased this item with intent as part of a large build for my home office. It connects to ...
  • Cons: - Nothing worthy of remembering.

Rampage Extreme LGA 2011

michael d., Newegg
10 May 2014
  • Pros: Amazing mobo, everything i expected and everything you need. Out of box was installed with no probs BUT the 4 / 8 pin is located on the top of mobo which kind of made it a pain in the install of my h100i, but i was able to make it work. PCH fan wasnt working, come to find out that the BIOS needed...
  • Cons: none, Like i said the 4/8 ping connector is ontop which made install alittle more of a hassle, but i would not put that into the Cons category

Great Mobo plenty of options

james o., Newegg
8 May 2014
  • Summary: wish my build didn't take 8 hours but I found it was mostly cause I am paranoid about connection points and wire placement on the board according to where the architecture was placed then after I found out how amazingly useful the ROG OC Key is for overclocking the system I figured I've give it that...
  • Pros: To make this quick as possible I just have to say that this Mobo is exactly what I expected, so user friendly with the GUI EFI and bios buttons. I didn't bother doing a test run on my first post outside of the case and wired the entire shin dig up to my chassis hit the power button and everything...
  • Cons: out of all the Mobo's I've installed this is the first one that had the most inconvenient configuration (keep in mind I haven't installed everything since ever) but some of the placements are awkward to get to after you install components and especially in my full tower case where I have a liquid...

Great motherboard

Austin A., Newegg
8 May 2014
  • Summary: I did get the warranty on the motherboard just because of all the reviews and negative feedback about the board. Luckily for me, and maybe unlucky for everyone else, I haven't had a single problem with the board at all.
  • Pros: Great motherboard, it does everything I want any more. I haven't had a single problem with it, and it started up no problem. I have two 780ti's, 64GB of trident ram, and audio card. All fit no problem.
  • Cons: None so far but if I do encounter a problem I will be sure to post it

I read before I bought

tim f., Newegg
16 April 2014
  • Summary: I see so many people complaining here and I just want to clarify: I've made the mistake of purchasing incompatible hardware so I always read every line before building a computer. This was the first thing I purchased when creating my new build. I haven't tried the OC Key.
  • Pros: Always look at the compatibility list before buying things. I purchased everything in one sitting and everything fits together perfectly. -Running strong (pretty much 24/7) for a year+ now. -Supports my 32G of ram running at 2133MHz (N82E16820231524) -Runs and overclocks my i7 to unreal numbers (...
  • Cons: Some of the ram slots get covered by my fan. This could be my fault, but good to note.

Year Strong

Troy K., Newegg
16 April 2014
  • Summary: I7-6 core LGA 2011 NZXT-Kraken 60 water cooler NZXT- Full tower case G. Skill Ripjaw Z series 32GB ram 5ea WD Blue 750 HD 840 Samsung 256gb SSD EVGA Super clocked GTX 660
  • Pros: This board has been being hammered on for the last year. Pretty safe to say it will last another 10 years as my single core ASUS board did. Exceeds expectations overclocking is amazing. Way more features than I will use as I don't game.
  • Cons: Had a hick-up on the bios reboot like some others. I unhooked the power from the board and it reset.

Really cool

Patrick P., Newegg
23 February 2014
  • Pros: All of the features are great. I really expected a huge learning curve getting this thing going - I do not build PCs often. I really did not have the trouble I thought I would. The BIOS adjustments were really easy - although the out of the box presets did not work at all. I am guessing these wer...
  • Cons: The position of the EZplugs makes perfect cable routing a pain. If you had the top of your case free it might not be an issue. Not something worth removing an egg for, but I was picky in where wires show!
