Summary: I've had this board with an OC 4930k @ 4.5ghz for close to a month. I am pleased so far with this board, I was originally looking at the EVGA Dark because of EVGA's stellar customer service. Unfortunately at the time the Dark was sold out at all the vendors I checked. I've bought numerous Asus products, they make a solid product and you are usually golden unless you have to RMA with Asus. Again all in all I am very pleased with this board.
Some weak points but overall a top choice among current LGA2011 MBs and worth the $

Summary: Fast and a clean install - but something with the BIOS is buggy and despite very stable temps (never higher than 32-25C) I have been experiencing crashes once I hit an up-time of 6+hours. I tried all different types of driver/system/software updates, system restores, and even tweaked the OC settings but still nothing! System reboots fine and I have learned to restart as I near 6 hours but for my 4K sick rig this should not be happening...
Summary: This is a great motherboard! It has so many options for overclocking which I'm just beginning to learn. I knew from the get go it wouldn't detect my CPU, so thankfully this board has an easy way to flash the BiOS via the USB. Couple minutes later and boom detected it. I commited a newbie builder error, because this was my first build, and didn't attach any cooler to the CPU; I thought I didn't need it just to go the BiOS, but you do need it lol.
Summary: One of the two bios settings does not work. I am reluctant to pull it out of the box and ship it back cause it's a lot of work, and one of the two bios' is working. Cannot re-install bios 1 at all.
Summary: I've had this motherboard for a few weeks now, and so far I've been pleased. The BIOS is full of options which makes overclocking a breeze. Overall it's a great board, but I have 2 complaints: 1) I bought this to go with an Intel i7-4930K processor. Unfortunately this board does not support Ivy Bridge E-series CPUs out of the box. You must flash to the latest BIOS in order to boot. (-1 star) Fortunately, this board supports flashing without memory or CPU.
Did not work with my primary boot device (OCZ-RevoDrive 3 X2-PCIe SSD)

Summary: Purchased this MOBO based on the great reviews it has received. However right out of the box, and after "minor" tinkering in the BIOS to set the PCIe-OCZ-RevoDrive 3 X2) as the boot drive, this motherboard would not even recognize this device further. I started to reconfigure the BIOS to different settings, where I could see this device on occasion, but as soon as the system was rebooted, it would no longer appear.
Summary: This is my latest gaming rig and this is my MB. What can I say other than contrary to other poorer reviews, I had no complaints with this MB. I dropped it into a "Cooler Master, Storm Trooper'...added a bunch of upper priced goodies, and WOW! Of course the parts list is a bit long for here, but if you are thinking about building a new gaming rig that you can upgrade and play for years to come, you can check my latest gaming rig out on my free novel wen site (...
Summary: It's a very powerful motherboard with many many features but when it goes south, dealing with ASUS customer service is a total nightmare. I had RMA'd this board and after 3 weeks it came back with absolutely nothing fixed. I had the same problems with the same error code as before. Thinking it was my other components I switched everything, CPU, RAM, SSD, HDD, PSU, GPU, and also the CMOS battery. However, nothing changed.
