I ripped the foam off the I/O shield so that it would fit

Summary: The foam on the shield seemed to be blocking so I rage quit and shamelessly ripped it off impatiently. As a beginner pc builder, I used surprising force to install the ram and to position the cpu lever back down do its designated place during cpu installation (It works with my Intel Xeon E3-1226). There are a whole lot of indicator lights that reveal when things are not working properly such as the ram , cpu, powersupply, etc.
A solid, energy efficiency, ECC supprted motherboad.

Summary: Pros: 1. Solid build; 2. Support ECC memory; 3. Energy efficiency. I have made a build with this motherboard together with Seasonic Platium Power Supply and E3 1275v3, with all the energy saving features turned on. The idle power drawing in Windows is 25W!, on load is 96W (not taxing the iGPU though). After installed a GTX 470, the idle power draw is ~55W, still not bad. Cons: 1.
Work as expected!! Is a robust motherboard as described for Server Workstation use...

Summary: I'm looking for a Motherboard for build a Server and normally I choose ASUS over other motherboards brands. This powerhouse work perfectly for server purpose. Only have issue with the CMOS so I need to flash and start working perfectly. Take care that if you choose a Intel XEON processor E3 for the motherboard the CPU does not have integrated the Graphic logic, the DVI interface works only for I7/I5/I3 4ht generation Haswell CPU.
Summary: Loved this board! Packed with features and the Intel P4600 graphics is holding it's own for most entry to mid level workstation use. I used it with the Xeon 1275V3 and 16GB Crucial ECC RAM. Great to start with and has a lot of upgrade potential if the work load becomes too much for it.
Summary: Solid mining board. Paired this with 4x 290X's, a 1220v3, 8gb DDR3 ECC, and onboard RAID1 of 250GB RE4's.. Rock stable so far and no issues. The ONLY downside is that this board doesn't have IPMI.. Really hard to find a mobo with 4 real PCI-E GPU slots and IPMI though...
Summary: i paired the mobo with a intel haswell xeon 1275 v3 chip and 32gb of spare 1333mhz EEC ram from a broken x58 workstation i used while this is a great board i wouldn't use 1333mhz ram unless u already have it i would recommend 1866mhz EEC ram but don't go below 1600mhz EEC
Summary: This board caused a huge amount of hassle during installation. Two major issues: it is advertised as supporting ECC memory - in fact it does NOT appear to do so. It didn't work with any ECC memory we tried and if you check the tested memory report produced by Asus you'll notice there's no ECC memory listed there. Secondly, while it does have DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, it does NOT appear to have integrated graphics.
Summary: Ich finde dieses Premium Board gut.
