Summary: The packaging was great and well delivered, it took a couple of days more but it arrived in good shape. I just loved to ensamble my new pc with this awesome piece of technology from Asus, you Rock!!! Thanks a lot!!!
Summary: I have to say i did not know much about building a computer when i purchased this, however through the guidance of a friend he said that this would be a good middle of the pack mother board. When i was assembling my computer it was simple to set up on this motherboard, and everything has been running smoothly ever since!
Summary: This board has a lot of nice features. Aside from what's typical for boards in this price range, you get six SATA ports, including two SATA 6G, and two more eSATA 6G connectors. It's got plenty of USB 3.0 connectors that can be configured for fast charging of devices. And it has almost all the device support I needed. But beyond that, it has some special features. It's easy to get it work with memory, check for errors, and work around problems with a single button press.
Summary: My husband upgraded my computer with the mother board and my machine is screaming fast now. I've been very happy with it and no issues. I don't know enough about the specs as he is an IT person and recommended it for my needs.
Summary: I am re-adjusting my review for this motherboard because it appears the one bad one I got was just that, one bad one. This was originally 1-star and now I am moving it to 4-stars. The other three that I've installed in the meantime have been just fine. These are all for the same customer and they are very happy with this motherboard, its features and the performance of their builds.
Summary: My i7 2700k processor runs noticeably faster on this motherboard than on a motherboard in my dell xps desktop. In the dell it gets a windows index score of 7.8 whereas using the asus motherboard it gets 8.2 in windows 8. Strangely I have an i7 3770k which using the same motherboard which only scores 7.9. I think perhaps the overclocking is easier higher with the 2700k.
Summary: The asus p8z77 -m pro is a great board, having not upgraded my pc myself for many years, I was very nervous but it was so easy, up and running from start to finish in half hour :) The only thing i dont like is the on board sound, wont give me more than 2 speakers no matter what i do ? even through optical.
Good Product - you get what you pay for. Power consumption a little high.

Summary: The motherboard has been stable with 32GB of Corsair XMS 1600MHz RAM for a few months now. Lucid Hydra works fine with 2 monitors and now works with Media transcoding using the accelerated Intel Media SDK after the latest update and enabling it for Mediacoder x64 Power consumption is higher than I would have liked - it uses around 75 watts from the wall on the desktop with a Radeon 6870 which is around 20W more than I expected.
Summary: It's a great motherboard and has some cool features. This Motherboard is for 155 processors like the i5 2500k. The motherboard isn't too big and has a good layout. It has some USB 3.0's which are pretty good for speedy usb connections. I did have a small issue when it was sent to me faulty, the packaging was poor but Amazon being Amazon sent me another one when I called up, that is the reason for the 4*'s. Great product, a must buy!
