Failed to power with 3 different power supplies

mc42d0, Newegg
14 April 2013
  • Summary: Tried 3 different, brand new, power supplies 2 AX860 and 1 AX760.
  • Pros: all the features and compact size.
  • Cons: Board will only power up after clearing the CMOS. Once ON, if powered OFF, it will not power up again unless, you guessed it, the CMOS is cleared.

  • Summary: Nothing fixed the problem from Updating Bios, replacing CMOS battery, making a button to bypass the case power button, jumpering the power pins, changed out all hardware

Asusfannomore, Newegg
8 November 2012
  • Pros: I cannot speak to any Pros as the motherboard was not stable and required the CMOS battery to be removed after each reboot.
  • Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS MOTHERBOARD!!!! Look at the other reviews and see this is a standard problem with this board. I saw the other reviews showing stability issues and boot...
