Cross fingers you don't have to deal with Asus support
5 May 2014
Summary: It is a nice MB with a ton of features: Pros: built in bluetooth, 3 PCIex16 slots, angled sata connectors, a power button right on the board, plenty of USB ports and as many headers on the board to connect more USB ports, many hardware switches, switchable graphics, comprehensive management suite to control OC, and monitor sensors.
Summary: In just a few months I will have had this motherboard for 2 years without a single problem. I really like ASUS the last 10-15 years or so and the products they release. This motherboard has worked great since day 1 and continues to work great and hopefully for many more years! Half of my PC is built from asus and all of their products have worked great. Installation was easy and I really like the bios with mouse ability, makes things much faster.
Summary: This motherboard has been great for over a year, but very recently I started running into strange issues with the USB ports (all of them). It started as intermittently my Das Keyboard would stop working after booting to windows occasionally, and a simple unplug, replug of the USB cables fixed it. After replacing a bad video card, I noticed that my keyboard wasn't working at all anymore once booting into windows.
Summary: I purchased this board in January of 2012. I installed an Icore7 2600 3.4 Ghz Intel Chip and 16gb of memory. I did find that it is best "urgent" to use a fluid cooled system on the chip. This machine is fast and flawless. There are multiple adjustments and tweaks to make this machine run just about any combination of drives, speeds and performance one could hope for. I am retired and usually have the machine on 24/7 at least for a good portion of the time.
