Summary: Again if your not bout the high end gaming but your mild or in-between beginner and hardcore performance this is the motherboard for you. had mines for over 5 months now and it's still running smoothly minus the Bluetooth technology doesn't seem to work anymore...
Summary: I was beginning to think my latest build was cursed, like a lemon. First I messed up a CPU, then I bent some pins on the old mobo, the SSD wouldn't work, what a nightmare. So I bought this board and plugged in my replacement CPU, sold the SSD -- for some reason it was causing super-slow boots -- and boom, this hot box has been running strong for more than a year now. Asus just gets the job done every single time.
Summary: Would give this board 5 stars but Bluetooth can't and won't work. I'm not surprised but wish it would work. Everything else is great. Have been running this for months now with a 2500k. OCs great runs everything stable. Great board if you want to avoid the newer z77 boards.
Summary: This replaced my Asus P55 (with i5 760). The first board delivered almost immediately developed an issue graphics interfering with sound - whenever graphics changed on the screen, screechy noises emanated from my speakers - even though the speakers were disabled in windows. Amazon got me a return in two days and the replacement is working just fine sound and all. Kudos to Amazon for that.
Summary: Was sent the first board and worked ok save Slot 1 and 2 (the blue ones your suppose to use 1st) were bad. Tested several times, 3 and 4 slots worked for a bit but didn't want to risk total failure. Revived the 2nd board and so far its been stable with the memtest, overnight runs, etc. Great for gaming rig build. Pros: Asus is a great company with great customer support if you need it. Ez to run moboard test with the LED build in each part IE:RAM, CPU, SATA, ETC.
Summary: I built a new computer using this board, and once I got it working it is great! Installation was straightforward, everything fit easily in my case and there were plenty of ports for everything. The owners manual was very clear on where everything goes and what is necessary to boot. What went well: * The onboard graphics and bios worked perfectly during install. * The onboard audio works great (after a driver update) * The board detected my RAM and SATA devices perfectly.
Summary: Purchased in August to replace an outdated system, I fitted this motherboard with the Intel i5-2500K 3.3Ghz processor and 8GB of Crucial Ballistix memory. I have the machine setup for auto overclocking via the bios, so far this has worked VERY well. The only issues that I ever have are upon booting the overclocking check will sometimes fail, all that this requires is a CAD and 100% of the time it boots fine the next time.
