Summary: It would be nice to have two more high speed SATA ports on the Intel chipset. The two on the MARVEL chip are reported to be much slower.
Pros: Good assortments of ports and add-in card slots. USB 3.0 and high 2 high speed SATA ports. Decent layout for build and CPU placement within the case. RAID-1 works.
Cons: The PS/2 keyboard port isn't reliable with Windows 7. I spent a long time trying to fix this; including modifying the PS/2 driver to add some longer retries. However, I was having some strange system 'hangs' and I decided it was due to this port going 'out to lunch'; so I converted to a USB keybo...

Pros: Good Mobo for the money. I did not experience any of the horror some other reviewers have. This was my first build and everything went smoothly. Massive amount of usb ports and a bunch of cool features. I know there are better boards out there but I am happy with it.
Cons: My 6 GB slot is not as fast as it should be.
Pros: With stock parts and settings very happy. worked right outta the box. Heard there was a BIOS update that might solve my OCing woes. Didnt fix my OCing issues but WOW did it improve the boot time. Takes 12 seconds to boot now.
Cons: There is some awesome sounding Auto Tuning software that's not cutting it for me. Haven't had any luck getting any configuration to OC on this one.
Summary: my main reason for posting this is i've read quite a few negative reviews and experiences about asus and their technical support. i RMA'd the motherboard with bent pins back to ASUS and they repaired and returned it without any question or charge. seemed like good support to me. works just fine now.
Pros: easy install, easy to use bios, lots of monitoring options and control
Cons: received with bent CPU socket pins which got repaired by ASUS
Summary: ALWAYS READ REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING!!! maybe im just the unlucky one that got a bad board. Eventually asus said they will replace it if they have it in stock. never called me back! i52500k 2 XFX 5670 Crossfire (DDR5 1GB each) 600GB HDD 8 GB RipJaw X 1333 dual channel
Pros: Price Specs Features colors Crossfire
Cons: after several months of owner ship my CPU socket fried. The CPU LED went on and now my computer wont boot. It turns on but nothing but a black screen. no beeps either. plus my video card fans are working at way above normal speeds. Contacted newegg they sent me off to intel. contacted intel they ...
Summary: One should not be put down becaue they have problems with this board. It is a tricky build - especially because you have to get the right and only the right RAM. It would be nice if all online computer retailers offered choices of matchng CPUs and RAM with the motherboard so that all 3 could be...
Pros: The BIOS has a different look. Selecting the boot device is easy. The BIOS works with the mouse - you aren't limited to using the keyboard.
Cons: The type and amount of ram installed is very important - very very very important. The RAM must be no more than 2X4 per slot with up to 4 ram sticks. It doesn't work with 2x8 ram. The ram also must be SPD (Serial Presence Detect). Not all ram meet this requirement. Even the ram mfg's web sites do...
Summary: Bought a triple memory Corsair CMX12GX3M3B1600C9 (12GB 3x4GB) Windows keeps telling me its a ram issue... Ran memtest and even Windows tells me the memories are fine. (Whats the deal?) Gonna do some further testing by just having two sticks in instead of three.
Pros: Lots of features, lots of space for upgrades
