P8P67 DELUXE blu tooth

this guy, Amazon
6 April 2013
  • Summary: The bluetooth radio on this thing is S***, someone needs to be brutally murdered publicly for equipping this thing with a dollar store BTradio, and expecting us to pay the hard earned coin. completely useless device.

Problematic & Annoying

Rob R., Newegg
26 October 2012
  • Summary: Despite the apparant best intentions of some Asus customer service people I am very unhappy that after over 3 weeks of agony I still don't have a P8P67 Deluxe that functions as it should. I'm now considering getting a Z77 board from a different manufacturer with a better customer service record.
  • Pros: When it works it's a fine board. UEFI BIOS is very easy to work with. Easy overclocker and runs stable when functioning.
  • Cons: First one arrived with a dead drive controller, advance RMA board was a refurbished one and showed up with non-functioning lower fan headers, USB 3.0 quit working after 5 months of light use. Was initially denied a second advance RMA board, called Asus corporate offices and got alleged second adv...

shouldn't be so hard

Tomas N., Newegg
14 September 2012
  • Summary: i've used the cheaper Asus boards and had no problems, the high price for all the features that may or may not work isn't really worth it. considering going back to the intel board I used while I waited for this to come back in the mail
  • Pros: tons of features, when it works it is pretty awesome and the bios is super simple to navigate.
  • Cons: if only they worked like they were supposed to. first board died 3 months after owning. sent in for rma and got one back with a bent pin so my cpu was a no go. rma again and this one works but bluetooth has vanished and the 3.0 usb port is so worn (i'm certain this isn't the board I sent in) that...

Great mobo, but...

Sam A., Newegg
25 April 2012
  • Summary: A bit expensive, but worth it.
  • Pros: Tons of features, everything I would want in a good mobo, not too expensive when I bought it either. (~$200)
  • Cons: Well, after a few months of owning it, while surfing the web one day, I heard a loud beep coming from my computer, but nothing happened on screen. However, all sound stopped working, and on-board audio would never recover. No sound device is recognized out of the default sound ports any more, and...

Terrible product support

Alan K., Newegg
27 March 2012
  • Summary: ASUS needs solutions to problems when board is installed as a replacement, not build.
  • Pros: After too much tech time, I do like the board.
  • Cons: Terrible tech support. I was trying to install this board as a replacement for my Intel D975XBX. Windows XP and data was left over on my Hard Drive. Board would not recognize OS. Tech support was non existant. Had to go to public forum to get it working.

Meh...

Amir R., Newegg
3 February 2012
  • Summary: As with any additional on-board or add-in RAID controller, it takes a little longer to POST because of the additional BIOS. I didn't consider that when I bought it, not that it would have changed my mind, but some people may not need/want it.
  • Pros: Graphical BIOS is the nicest I've seen, but to be fair, the only other GUI-based BIOS I've used is Dell's. Comes with USB 3.0 front panel (floppy sized), but header works with my case (Cooler Master Storm Trooper), so I didn't use it. Loaded with plenty of I/O ports on the back panel, but that's ...
  • Cons: Despite having the "EZ Flash" utility built into the BIOS, ASUS doesn't make a compatible BIOS, so you have to use the motherboard DVD and a USB jump drive to flash the BIOS. I consider this to be unacceptable for any higher-end motherboard made post 2000-ish. Refuses to POST with my SATA 1.5 Rap...

Not too bad, had some issues

Ebbyman, Amazon
16 August 2011
  • Summary: Overall, the features are good and the board is easy to install along with the parts. So far the board is working well and I have not had any issues since the first set of problems I worked around. I initially had a difficult time with this board soon after I installed Windows and all the drivers.

Verry nice board but sleep-lockup issue

sejp, Amazon
13 July 2011
  • Summary: This is a nice clean board and runs very cool. Modern BIOS is nice too. BUT: there is a sleep-mode proble that bricks the board and doesn't allow you to reboot. The symptoms are: (1) You decide to auto-tune the system using the ASUS supplied software; (2) you leave the computer running on some task...

Eigentlich ein schönes Mainboard

EEMCD, Amazon
30 December 2012
