Summary: The quality on the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (and PRO) has been abysmal. My company bought 9 Deluxe and 3 PRO versions of these boards, 3 Deluxe have failed in a year, and one PRO. The voltage regulators seem to go bad and as a result the board will not POST. (It will not even get to a first POST step with Debug LED output). I've pulled the PSU, memory, CPU, disk drives, etc. (multiple times now) and put them into replacement motherboard(s).
Summary: I think I was crazed by the bells and whistles. I should have noticed there was a problem when every month a new function would just quit. I never could record to DVD and soon my onboard (it sounded good for a while)audio dropped out. The built in bluetooth never quite worked and the cute box with the 3.0 USB ports had to be removed to make another failure work. Finally, this brick goes by the Mayan calendar when it picks the days it wants to boot.
Summary: This is really a piece of trash. Three months later, 3 different memory module types, 3 video cards, many hard drives, mouses and keyboards and all same results, motherboard freeze randomly. Yo can see a lot of forums with the same issue (really many, many, many forums, included the one from Asus where all comments are from buyers, not Asus Company), this motherboard freezes and there is nothing you can do except send it back and pray the Lord that the "new one"...
Summary: This motherboard freeze with many memory card manufacturers and types and video cards, It's too many unstable. I prove it with 1 memory module Corsair Vengeance 8Gb, 2 Kingstone 2 GB modules and 2 more brands; 2 different video cards, even without hard drive, disk reader, keyboard and mouse and still same result, freeze ramdonly. You can see in forums that this is a common issue on this motherboard. I don't know this when I buy it and Asus don't write about.
Summary: I have used Asus motherboards for a while now. Recently though the quality has gone to crap (maybe becoming to big to fast?). Performance wise I actually enjoyed this board and Asus always gives you a few extras that other companies don't, like having a new bios to simplify things for the casual gamer, or having full usb 3.0 support before the other companies. With that said this board died in 6 months.
$280 P8P67 Motherboard Box, with ASUS P5K inside, soweeeet!!!
2 February 2012
Summary: Paid in full for the P8P67 Deluxe LGA 1155 SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 Support Motherboard. I am a Tech Guy by trade, but an amateur when it comes to computers, as they are ever changing. I built my own computer around the turn of the century and thought it would be cool to do it again. I ordered all the parts to make a screamer of a computer. Raid 0 SSD with SATA 6 Gbps, 32 Gbs of RAM. LGA 1155 i7 Processor, 2G Video Card. Was building and Eyefinity setup with 3 screens.
Summary: I am going to keep this to the point and very short. From the time I attempted to power up my new built system with this board, I immediately experienced several problems. One was directly related to a BIOS problem, and some of the others I was not able to readily identify the root cause of those problems. I have built many systems and I have used ASUS in the past many times. However, I have NEVER seen anything like I have experienced with this product.
Summary: This board failed, and two shops could not trace the problem. Send back to ASUS, they said it was fine, sent it back to me without the rest of the things in the box so now I have no book, none of the cords. Called them about it, they say that's my fault, and now they can't find what I sent them, so tough luck. Horrible support, rude, not interested in my goals, argumentative and now I have a suspect board without the rest of what I need to finish my build.
Summary: This board had everything I wanted and more. Had multiple weird problems with the board for a few months. Board stopped posting eventually, sent it back to Asus. After having no computer for 3 weeks I get my board back still very clearly broken. It's like they did nothing to it. Chip/ram work fine in other motherboards, other chip/ram do not work in broken motherboard. Will not even attempt to post. Been trying to get in contact with Asus.
