Maintaining the ASUS name

Christian, Amazon
27 January 2013
  • Summary: Lots of ports, easy to navigate and find things, clearly labeled, and not very expensive. If I could make one change though it would be taking the 'resistors' off the I/O shield

First gaming build, awesome motherboard.

Werner Karl Heisenberg "You cannot perceive b..., Amazon

  • Summary: There's not much to say, plenty of ports. Compatible with everything I needed. The Bios is amazing and the UI is really nice. Very easy to navigate. I was hesitant to buy it because somebody gave it 1 Star, but their review was pointless and irrelevant. Get this board, you'll love it.

For $100, it's pretty nice...

SammySosa21 "sammysosa21", Amazon
15 October 2012
  • Summary: I got this up and running in my build about 2 weeks ago. I gotta say the board was laid out pretty nicely, labeled well and i didn't have a problem with anything except the processor lever which i felt was a little tough to seat in the slot, but being my first real build it probably was how it is supposed to be i just didn't expect it to be so tight (which was probably my fault to be honest). For $100, it's worth it for sure...

Solid Motherboard

M. Gill "Bay Area Dad", Amazon
18 September 2012
  • Summary: I'm typically the guy that spends the cash on the higher end boards to get all the bleeding edge features. But a series of power outages in my area last week killed my old ASUS Striker Extreme. I went with this board because it covered all the basics and allowed me to re-use a number of my parts quickly. Also as I look back I'm not sure I ever really used all the stuff I paid for the last time. Key Note - there is only ONE 6GB/sec connector on the board.
