Pretty sweet

Michael G., Newegg
24 April 2014
  • Pros: While it ran, it was awesome. No troubles or anything. Did what I expected it to do.
  • Cons: After 13 months, it crapped out on me. I wish it hadn't.

Failing video, bad NIC

Jeffrey K., Newegg
18 October 2013
  • Pros: Nice BIOS screens, includes SATA cables and a printed manual.
  • Cons: After running for a week I noticed thin horizontal lines on the monitor. These remain under any resolution selected, as well as when I'm in the BIOS setup. Also, the NIC is no longer detected, so no network. This is being returned.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Stan Jarensky, Amazon
5 October 2013
  • Summary: This is a budget motherboard. That means that it doesn't have fancy features like SLI support but if you're looking for a motherboard to run a single PCIe x 16 GPU and don't want to spend a lot, I'd definitely recommend this. I got this because I bought a premade "gaming" computer made by Acer.

This cost me money

Joel G., Newegg
21 September 2013
  • Summary: I don't think ASUS is testing their motherboards. The fact parts labeled Foxconn found within the box, leads me to believe this board was sub out to Foxconn to build. I had no problems in the past with ASUS products but our company will now reconsider.
  • Pros: Could not talk about because of issues. The motherboard does work was able to test with another video card. Don't have a DVI-D
  • Cons: The board as a bad VGA port. So my choice is either buy a DVI-D adapter, PCI express Video Card or RMA and wait a week. No DVI-D adapter within the box so you will need to get DVI-D cable or adapter. Note: DVI-D port is new and most #Video Cards have DVI-A ports.

Another Great ASUS Board

Troy P., Newegg
16 September 2013
  • Summary: I bought this for a value gaming PC. I just needed 2 memory slots and one PCI-E port. This was a perfect solution to my requirements. For a basic gaming PC that can play any game with room to grow, this is all you need and will not disappoint.
  • Pros: - Great Value - ASUS Quality - Important features in a small package
  • Cons: I wish they could work with memory companies and figure out how to make them auto-detect rated memory timings and frequencies. I can't imagine how many go untouched and are under-performing.

Awesome Mobo for size/price

Bobbi M., Newegg
28 August 2013
  • Summary: The motherboard is a micro atx so I didn't find it fitting to mention this in cons, but the board is so small it makes installing larger graphics card a real pain because of limited space to work around, so not really a con considering the purchase but something to note
  • Pros: Works great, good surge protection, easy to install and will fit in any case, pretty cheap too
  • Cons: N/A

It's a trooper

Anonymous, Newegg
19 July 2013
  • Summary: It has sound, it has LAN, it has at least basic GFX when paired with a 3rd gen CPU (which can also be had for 70 bucks). If you want a basic multimedia machine, and you're not expecting to run hard-hitting games at huge FPS, then this may be a fine bargain solution for you.
  • Pros: All inclusive. Install a 3rd gen Intel Core CPU, and you're set - Video, Sound, LAN.
  • Cons: Nothing I can think of for a $70 motherboard.
