Summary: This is my first solo build and I did my research good. This board started up the first time I hit the button, no errors at all. Read my ram perfectly. My last pc had an ASUS board in it and lasted years before a non realated component damamged it. Will recomend this board to everyone.
Summary: a couple weeks now, no problem. it's easy to do overclocking with cool features. it supports two internet wire bridging but it doesn't make much difference on my computer. overall, recommended.
Summary: Motherboard installed for the most part without any issues although it is sensitive to memory types. First memory type I bought that was in the ASUS certified list did not work. I installed 6GB and it would sometimes only showed 4GB and after checking around in the forums found this to be a common problem with this motherboard. Selected the memory that other users had success with and the system has been solid as a rock since.
Summary: I'm writing this review simply to express my disappointment with the way Asus has reneged on its 3 year motherboard warranty. I returned a motherboard to Asus service as after trying (and following the directions in the manual) to return the bios to factory defaults it no longer posted. The motherboard was just 1 1/2 years old and still under warranty so I easily got an RMA and sent it to Asus Service.
