Summary: I'd give any Refurb 4 out of five since they don't come with an I/O shield or install disc but that's the way everyone does it not really negative. But not this one. For the price it would almost be greedy to expect more. Pro The board works so good that I'm RMAing my older Gigabyte board because I have Zero doubt it had issues now. Even when I get it back, I'm selling it. This board is sweet and did I mention I like its price.
Summary: I have bought 3 of these and even though they have allot of options everyone has gone bad. I am RMA'ing my third one now as I right this reveiw. They are out of the limelight now and the 1156 boards are the way to go unless you want huge power and then the 1366 is for you and EVGA is the best as far as this class goes in my opinion.
Summary: Runs great - IF you can convince it to POST! So far I have had to reset the CMOS every time I start it and then reset the BIOS settings to my preferences to get it to POST and boot. Bought it Open Box so I saved money, but this is getting to be a hassle. Would probably have a toygh time recommending this MB to anyone else.
Summary: first attempt to flash bios with new version , supporting intel i7 DO batch ended in bricked mobo, good thing is that BIOS replacement chip is avaliable on ebay for 20$ Search on google confirms it's a quite common problem .Other than that - mobo looks nice and is overloaded with features that most computer users will never need
Summary: The 1st board that I had - hooked up great, it was only until I started adding the other sata cables did I notice a problem. One cable didn't want to come off and the soldered sata was very loose like a tooth coming out. I called asus and they advised me to take the board back and I did(with the cable still attached). It broke off after the exchange was being made.
Pros: Easy To Install, Fast, Great Features, Stable
Summary: I would recommend this board to anyone looking to move into the Intel 1366 Core i7 architecture. The board performs as to be expected although the stability is in question due to the fact that a mild .2 Mhz processor overclock I put on it failed. This is probably due to other factors and I will try to get it going someday. But, overall, I would recommend this board.
Summary: I purchased this board to build new system for stock trader, using twin pci express video cards was not a problem. Board went together well and everything was easy to reach. I would recommend that you connect the case switches and USB cables to mother board, before installing the power supply, its a tight fit, but if done before hand, yor assembly will be easier.
