The extended testing we gave the Asus P6T was partially due to the plethora of features and partially due to it's just a fun board. Overclocking was easily achieved with a minimum of fiddling with voltages. The three different triple channel RAM kits we tested were plug and play even at high speeds. We ran six different GPU's on the board for a total of nine different configurations (Single GPU and SLI/CrossFire) and every configuration was pain free and easily... Read more

Asus’s P6T Deluxe isn’t the most over-the-top Core i7 board we’ve tested, but it certainly has a leg up on Intel’s bare-bones DX58SO. For one thing, it finally brings us graphics reunification by supporting both two-card SLI and CrossFire X configurations. Read more

It's clear from the outset that the Asus P6T Deluxe is a quality product. Not only is the package well thought out and very well presented as per usual Asus standards, the motherboard itself is a masterpiece of current PC technology. Comprising the latest Intel chipset, triple DDR3 and the option of either SLI or Crossfire, it shouldn't matter whether you prefer the red or green camp, either way you are going to win with the Asus P6T Deluxe. The OC Palm only adds to the... Read more

Today we take a look at the Asus P6T Deluxe from Asus.  We at XCPUS.com know that these boards have been available for some time, but we hope that this review, and the X58 Roundups to follow, offer more information about the boards contained in each review than previously available articles and reviews.  A main focus on our X58 motherboard reviews is how each board works with synthetic and realworld benchmarks, like many other's available.  We also take a look at... Morry's Thoughts: The P6T Deluxe is another fine board from ASUS, with the layout and overall design of the board being top notch. There was more than adequate room to get at all components on the board, and I had no issues at all with close components in the CPU socket area. The benchmark performance of the board was stellar, with none of the previous generation Intel solutions even coming close in most cases. Overall, another great design win for ASUS. The P6T Deluxe... I really wish that one major improvement that Asus would make to ExpressGate, is including onboard memory for ExpressGate to operate. It's absolutely no good to have ExpressGate on one of your HDD's, an optical disc, or memory stick. HDD's fail, optical discs are very slow, and memory sticks stick out. With this latest HDD issue with Seagate, if you had to send in your drive to be replaced, or just wait for Seagate to release a firmware that won't brick your drive,... Read more

The 1st board that I had - hooked up great, it was only until I started adding the other sata cables did I notice a problem. One cable didn't want to come off and the soldered sata was very loose like a tooth coming out. I called asus and they advised me to take the board back and I did(with the cable still attached). It broke off after the exchange was being made. Over all - very good board, just be very careful and mindful that the components may not be 100% soldered... Read more
