  • Summary: I have had this board for over 3 years now and I have to say it is a winner from ASUS! My board has been super reliable and with the new 10/25/12 bios update it works even better! Trutly this has been one of the best motherboards I have owned and I am glad I have it powering my machiene. I would also highly recommend it to anyone!

Good full featured Intel P45 board

fury1184, Ebay
5 May 2011
  • Summary: I bought this to replace my dead P5QL Pro after two years of hard use. It was a little bit of an upgrade going from P43 to the P45 because now I had Cross-Fire capability. Some cool features like Turbo Boost, I haven't been able to try it out, but it aught to work perfect with my QX6850 that I installed on it. It uses a VIA sound chipset that surprising delivers great sound.

pros + cons

Ebay
10 April 2011
  • Summary: I bought this 775 asus p6q pro turbo, because it had great reviews, and I wanted to switch from AMD to INTEL 775, because the 775 processors have a higher level-2 cache, providing more efficiency and speed in getting multitasking complete, reliable usage, longevity, and overall good performance compared to amd, the only draw back is no floppy but an external or super-ide-floppy can be installed with a pci-card overall good running reliable board,

Great Mobo, awful experience.

Elliott L., Amazon
2 October 2010
  • Summary: In the span of 2 weeks, I received 1 faulty Asus motherboard, then a replacement that did not support my GPU, then the P5Q PRO TURBO as a solution, and apparently this one is also faulty. The top blue PCIex16 slot on this motherboard will not boot with my graphics card (9800GT) but it will on the lower black PCIex16.
