Summary: I have had this board for over 3 years now and I have to say it is a winner from ASUS! My board has been super reliable and with the new 10/25/12 bios update it works even better! Trutly this has been one of the best motherboards I have owned and I am glad I have it powering my machiene. I would also highly recommend it to anyone!
Summary: In the span of 2 weeks, I received 1 faulty Asus motherboard, then a replacement that did not support my GPU, then the P5Q PRO TURBO as a solution, and apparently this one is also faulty. The top blue PCIex16 slot on this motherboard will not boot with my graphics card (9800GT) but it will on the lower black PCIex16.
Summary: I would give this a 4 1/2 star rating, if possible, but it will have to live as a 4 star. To keep it short, this board has an impressive feature set, for the money. The reason I would dock it the 1/2 star..., I'm no overclocker, or much of a BIOS tweaker, but I had to be one when the default settings for the 4 GB PC2-8500 C5 1066 ram had to have the NB Voltage (Northridge Voltage) manually set to 1.3 before a memory test app would give it a clean bill of health.
Excellent high quality board with loads of features.

Summary: This motherboard has loads of features at your disposal to overclock your system. Not only that, but it runs so cool to be passively cooled, I could hardly believe it. Only 27 C at all times except when outside temp goes up. I'm currently running stock settings to get a feel for this board as its replacing a 750i board that always ran hot and would constantly shutdown with 8 GB of memory.
Summary: I got this to replace a P5Q-SE/R that was defective and sent incomplete (no I/O backplate or manual or CD or Q-connector). Straightforward install. Booted right up. I installed Windows 7 directly afterward and have cut boot-up time to about 12 sec. to Windows 7 LOGIN. I installed this in a HAF 932 which has gobs and gobs of room. It may not fit in a smaller case like an OEM HP. Lots of cooling fan plug-ins, which I needed. Very happy with this board.
Summary: I recently started to actually review stuff. I've been looking more and more at reviews when making purchases. So, tell folks what you think about stuff. Now on to this board. Great board for 775 socket, DDR2 ram. Their software interact directly with the bios. You can actually overclock from the desktop. I still went old school, but you can do it that way too. I stuffed a fairly meaty DDR5 vid card into it, flawless. Oced the ram just a bit, no problems.
