Summary: POOR PRODUCT: This instable motherboard was incapable to turn off the CPU fan when the PC was completly off. Additionaly, this board took the PSU out which has to be replaced. MEDIOCRE ASUS SUPPORT: Their support representatives barely read the failure description and fake to answer. You are on your own to perform the trouble shooting.
Summary: Prior to buying this item I strongly urge you to read the current reviews on this motherboard. Particularly ASUS' own Forums. While some of the other P5Q series seem to be ok, the P5Q Deluxe has many reviews about how unstable it is. My own experience was as bad as it gets. The latest BIOS seems to be a particular minefield of problems, so stay away from that.
Summary: This board was disappointing. I prefer Asus boards and this board with it's Intel Q9550 processor, dual Raptors in a raid 0, config, 8 GB of RAM, Windows XP x64 is an oinker compared the Asus A8N Sli Deluxe with AMD 4400, 4 GB, dual Raptors that it replaced. The BIOS is definitely put together by a committee without much regard as to how the whole thing fits together. The BIOS seems to forget any change to it's boot settings when power is removed.
Summary: Amazon.com have advertised this MB as the P5Q3 deluxe, when in fact it just is not. Through many suppliers, they are supplying the P5Q deluxe. They have a responsibility to compensate the many customers they have inconvenienced, including me (twice now). I guess it's easy to say you just shouldn't touch this product on Amazon's system, but GO THROUGH SOME OTHER PROVIDER!
Summary: Recieved wrong MB twice and they wanted me to return both before refunding my money. Had to call them at least 10 times to get them straightened out on this. Horrible experience. Never recieved the correct one and bought another from a different company. Even the supervisor screwed things up.
Summary: I ordered this item and got P5Q instead. I contacted customer service, they said they will send me the "correct" item, but I still received a P5Q. I contacted customer service again, they said "it's likely another replacement would arrive incorrect", and they just cancel the order directly. I've been waiting for almost a month and got NOTHING!!! RIDICULOUS SERVICE!!!!!
