Summary: The Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard is by far the most bang I've gotten for my buck in a computer upgrade in a long time. Clean, easy to install, the P5N-E is also great to look at. The connector layouts are well designed, I don't have cables in my way, although I would have preferred another alternative...
Summary: I read up on it. It's a nice stable MB. I haven't used the dual video board capability and probably won't. By the time I can afford another twin videoboard, the latest and greatest,(whenever that will be), will be faster that having 2 together.
Summary: I had an old P4 system that I built in 2002 and the motherboard died. Today, it's nearly impossible to get a replacement that will accept DDR memory, a P4 processor and a bunch of IDE/ATA devices (like hard drives and DVD-ROM and DVD write drives). This motherboard was a good compromise.
Summary: This is the best motherboard I had ever had! The SLi feature to run 2 video cards make this baby a monster for gaming experience... I currently have it with an Intel Core 2 Quad of 2.40GHz, OCZ 2 GB DDR2 PC2-6400 and a Geforce 8600GT Pcie 512MB DDR2 and It runs perfect! No instalation problems!
Excerpt: Bought this a year ago on recommendation...first time overclocker and PCI-E user, this board makes life very easy. 1 BIOS update later and i had 1333 FSB compatability so have an Intel C2D E8500 running at 3.48ghz using BIOS AI overclocking..
