If you are looking for a full-featured Intel motherboard, you won't do much better than the Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi-AP. The latest BIOS provided the maturity and overclocking features that this P35 board needed, and it may very well now be one of the best P35 overclockers out there. The heatpipe cooling not only provides total silence, it cools as well or better than most chipset coolers with fans. For someone wanting to build an upper-end rig with DDR2 memory, this may... Usually the rear is quite uneventful but the rear of the Asus P5K Deluxe has the completion of the 8 phase power design. The ASUS P5K Deluxe WiFi-AP Edition is an impressive motherboard that excels in all areas. Although a little pricey at ~$230, the P5K Deluxe offers an amazing array of features, rock solid performance, stability, and a great board design and layout. You basically cannot go wrong by selecting this board - however in all fairness, I need only to point out that the Gigabyte P35-DS3R I recently tested ended up with a higher stable maximum FSB, and while it is not quite as... I ran into some trouble at first trying to get the board to recognize my Q6600, and the heatsink on the Northbridge was loose. But the board has never let me down and after a BIOS update, everything ran smoothly. Very easy to OC, definitely a board to get for first time overclockers! Read more
