John, Amazon
12 October 2015
  • Summary: Great board and devices are priced reasonably. Supper overclock tweeker that allows unbelievable speed stepping. I have a QX9770 1600 front side and ddr3 2000mhz ram with great stability and don't overclock except for ram bios change.

Where does time go!

Linda B., Newegg
3 March 2015
  • Summary: I just hope my next build will serve as well as this board. I'm not sure if I'll go with Asus or AMD. The only reason being is the more recent reviews of some of the higher end Asus boards haven't been faring too well. Definitely have the nose to the grind stone with my research for the best board.
  • Pros: I can't believe it's been since the Fall of 2007 that I've had this board. Not only that but still running XP. This board has served so well over the years. I use Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and other photo programs and convert video. Not a gamer so I can't comment to that. All on four gigs of RAM...
  • Cons: For all the service I've received and continue to receive from this board, absolutely none.

Ivan H., Newegg
18 March 2013
  • Pros: Unbelievable motherboard ahead of its time. I bought this in Nov 2007. I have not had a need to upgrade yet. I have debated upgrading to newer motherboards but this still runs all the latest applications and games with super performance. I just recently installed a third SSD and a clean install t...
  • Cons: LGA775, but but fortunately the Intel Quad Core series were a great line of procdessors.

4+ years and going

Johnny D., Newegg
24 January 2012
  • Summary: I upgrade alot ( VGA, HDD, OS) and the choices are getting slimmer since time has moved on but this setup still lets me play the newest games when the mood hits. Currently have (1ea) EAH6970, Corsair HX620 PS, 8GB ( 4X2gb) Geil PC 1066 DDR2, Creative Audigy 2 sound card, Win 7, etc.
  • Pros: Still working flawlessly after 4+ years while overclocking my Q6600 @ 3.4ghz. I definately got my money worth on this purchase. My wife also uses this PC and she is a night owl so this mobo has been on basically 24/7 for that duration. One of the best investments I have made PC wise. Completely s...
  • Cons: Would have been nice if it had SATA III but then this mobo was before that time so I cannot call that a con.
