Summary: I have noticed that lots of people have the crash issue with this board. maybe is the qulity control went wrong on this board. I have another ROG board ASUS Maximus III Formula LGA 1156 since 2010, I overlocked it works perfectly fine. But on this ROG VI impact.... I dont have a good time with it.
Pros: -nice looking -lots of accessories -small itx but has everything that you need even a M.2 slot -good when it does't crash that's why this board still get 2 eggs from me
Cons: -after a little over a year the board crashes when im playing games -on boot up the fan spin then stop then spin then stop couple time before it can actually boot up -died after few month doing that spin-stop-spin thing I did not overlock at all, everything runs at default
Summary: I love this board, it's feature rich and performs wonderfully (most of the time) I experience random crashes with no common reason. Works flawlessly days at a time, then sometimes crashes consecutively time after time in a single day. Or just once a month, or week.
Pros: Love the look Super Fast Overclocks wonderfully. Is amazing when it's not crashing on me.
Summary: I have to think a BIO or Windows Driver will eventually fix this issue. Also, running SSD. I am suspicious of this too.
Pros: Its great when it is working. Running Hyper-V images and they are super fast
Cons: Seems like it freezes a lot and crashes. I have taken off all devices and video card, to insolate issue. Sometimes stays up for several days, and other time it freezes and crashes. Running Windows 8.1 and 10 with same results.
ASUS please wake up your Quality Control person sleeping.

Summary: Three (3) x dead Asus Impact Z87 boards in a row are dead or working without certain features working. Now to make matters worse I see on many forums with Asus Reps saying we are the problem not them.
Pros: Newegg took back this board without any problems, but I have to pay for shipping.
Cons: Three (3) dead Asus Z87 Impact boards in a row Bought a BitsPower Full CPU block along with Memory water block that now are a paper weight for my desk.
Cons: Haven't had one that works yet... Just received my second dead board. The RMA process took over a month to get here, only for it to be dead again. Never been so disappointed with a product in my life. If you spend $200 plus dollars you think quality wouldn't be a concern.
Summary: Had the board working for a few weeks, then it began power cycling indefinitely without reaching POST. Used ASUS Support page to begin the RMA process and the page timed out. Called to Verify status of RMA and was redirected to another number. Over 15 minutes on hold and still no answer.
Pros: "Features" list.
Cons: "Built in" WiFi requires a daughter board. SPDIF optical out (that is already on the board) requires an additional daughter board to function.
Summary: I am still waiting for my replacement, so we'll see how that goes.
Pros: A lot of features and ports for a small ITX board. all the connectors on the motherboard were placed perfectly (except for the "HD Audio" pins).
Cons: Memory Slot B1 was faulty, the motherboard wouldn't boot to BIOS if memory was installed in that slot and displayed ERROR 55 on the LED (Memory Not Installed). Sound card is very flimsy, felt like it would break when I was trying to put the "HD Audio" connector on it. The power daughterboard got ...
