Pros: You won't find another mini itx board with this many features!
Cons: Returned the first one I bought with for a bad intermittent onboard NIC port. Which is needed since it is the only onboard LAN port available on this board. It made me a little upset since I had to take a part my newly built fully water cooled ITX gaming box just to swap the motherboard.
Pros: Many high-end features packed into an ITX form factor for the first time, yet the layout is well designed for maximum physical compatibility between system components. It is by far the most impressive ITX motherboard on the market, and definitely shows overclocking potential. Everything was very stable and easy to set up when the board worked.
Cons: I haven't been very fortunate with this motherboard. My first one failed after 5 minutes while I was installing the OS, could not get the board to power on despite changing every attached component, simply no response from pressing the lit up "START" button. Second board lasted 2 months before it threw the "00" code one day and stuck itself in a non-posting boot loop.
Summary: Purchased this to build a Steambox. It definitely is a solid motherboard and has a ton of features. My case came in late, so I was grateful that it has a start button to allow for testing without a computer case. The BIOS is pretty easy to use and has all the necessary features. Another key feature that is handy is there are 4 fan headers. The motherboard layout is decent, with 3 of the fan headers near the CPU and 1 fan header near the PCI-E.
Pros: Well built, tons of features for tweakers, good layout, all features needed for a good portable gaming setup, decent price
Summary: even though its a bit expensive you are getting what you paid for, the best itx mobo with the best components!! Cant go wrong!! Also wanted to point out something, THIS MOBO doesn't require java, it works ok without it (as another reviewer commented. The only thing requiring JAVA ( and its an utility which is OPTIONAL) is the ASUS AI Suite 3. Remember its a utility and optional not required!! Drivers are required and those don't work with java!!
Summary: Everything you could want and more in a board. No compromises despite the small size, well unless you're a fan of sli (lacks a 2nd PCI slot). I used this in my first mini itx build, along with a fractal design node 304 (amazing case btw) a season g series psu, and a evga gtx sc 760. My favorite build I've done by far. With great hardware like this in mini itx, it's getting hard to justify matx or atx builds. It can do everything they can at a fraction of the size.
