Summary: I was looking at getting a z87 pro board and a couple PCIE's for wireless AC and sound card. Once you tack on the cost of these extras the M6F is a decent value. If you're on the fence, just pull the trigger. This is a great board.
Pros: - great looks, - onboard AC, - lots of SATA ports, - intelligent layout of fan headers, - awesome sound solution for onboard audio. haven't felt the need to add in a sound card
Summary: This is a nice board with a lot of potential. If you need motherboard that does it all I highly suggest this one. It has 802.11 ac wireless and if it works it works wonders. I have 5 full bars all the time compare to D-Link N wireless card that I had before the signal strength was just not as good. I had some issues with drivers though. Drivers provided on CD didn't work. Downloaded latest Broadcomm drivers and was all set. Pretty good on-board audio.
Pros: Sturdy solid design, looks great in the case, built in AC wi-fi, mPCI combo, lots of fan headers all over the board, nice BIOS, good on-board audio (7.1) with working headphone amp (up to 600 oHm)
Cons: Only 1 onboard USB 2 header. I plugged my CPU fan there and that leaves with no spares, would like to have one for front header as well. Drivers are tricky to get them working. ASUS tech support really sucks because if you'll have any issues first thing they tell is that board is defective and needs to be RMA :)
Pros: Everything is awesome! The look, the uefi is easy, the fan xpert is amazing. Asus Rocks! I want a ROG Tshirt for the love of pete! JJ has a video online to overclock on this board and it is the best.
Cons: Nothing! I upgraded my CPU, my board, my ram, my 2 H50 fans again (red led's sue me), my 4770k oc'd to a stable 4.7! So I have no complaints! I'm gonna buy some powerball tickets and see if I can win 2 lotteries! lol
