Summary: I have had this motherboard for nearly two years now. The RAM slots stopped working in it, no biggy it still had it warranty. So, I went to put in a RMA to get it repaired. I didn't see a apply for RMA option so I had to go through tech support, explain the problem and finally get my RMA cleared after a few days of emails. It has now been over a month since I sent that email, and I am waiting on my motherboard to still get back to me.
Summary: I'd recommend staying away from ASUS. Their quality is in decline, and their customer service (which used to be excellent) was eerily similar to every Dell CS encounter I have had. My motherboard died after 3 months of good use. Asus said they would send RMA form, but it didn't come. I called and they said to wait a bit longer for it. It still never came. Called again, and they told me they messed up and would be sending out the form within the hour.
Summary: I have had this board about 7 months. The first board Amazon shipped to me was not DOA, but shortly into the build it wouldn't post. I was never sure if it was the power supply or the Board so I did an RMA of both and Amazon was happy to help. 3 weeks ago I went from a HDD OS to a SDD OS. The install went very smooth until I decided to update the BIOS from AI Suite as part of the upgrade (BIOS 3402). The BIOS supposedly flashed ok and on restart the real trouble began.
Summary: I wish I could rate this product and tell readers how the product works. However, I have not been able to get a single board to work. I am on my second board going through the RMA process with ASUS and still no luck. I am/was trying to build a new system and this motherboard was the basis for the system with all new parts. I build computers regularly and am very familiar with the process and construction of a system.
They don't keep their bios up to date or resolve issues

Summary: ASUS doesn't keep their bios up to date. Did a bios flash after owning for 6 months, it was a major update and as such could not be down graded. After bios update it takes 60 seconds to post and no longer recognizes the memory speed and settings correctly. Memory worked prior and is on their list of "approved" memory modules.

Summary: When I was looking at getting a new motherboard I wanted a board that was easy to overclock. Asus makes over clocking so easy these days.........actually it doesn't really even feel like you have done much it's so seamless! I wanted an M-atx board so I could build a SFF PC, smaller is better...........and this is probably the best M-atx board on the market. The board lives up to the ASUS reputation ...........solid design, quality, very easy to set-up.
