Supposed to be a gread board. No PCIe flexibility. Dead onboard USB ports.

Summary: Cons: First and foremost, let me say that the PCIe slot placement on this board is terrible. Unless you want to run a single doule-wide GPU off of the NF200 (slot #3) or in the fourth (8x as opposed to 16x) slot, you only have three extra PCIe slots that will accommodate expansion cards (one of...

Pros: I'm sure the board works great when if you can actually get a machine going with it.
Cons: I had a processor socket pin that was missing, and I've read in some of ASUS's forums where others reported the same problem with this mother board, but ASUS has been unwilling to help me in any way besides having me send in the board and spend another $150 dollars to replace the socket. Oh joy! ...
Summary: THE BOARD IS GOOD AND AFTER 3-4 MONTH IS NOT WORK i have problem and i call customer service about my motherboard it dosnt work and i wait 45 min on the phone about what the problem and always says sorry the system computer was stoped, that is every time if u call AND AFTER SEND EMAIL TO RMA TO...
Summary: I guess I can try a BIOS update and see if that helps but really for a 350 dollar Mobo I should be able to install XP without any headaches right out of the box. Really disappointed in Asus. I believe they sacrificed compatibility and useability with overclocking settings on this one.
Pros: 4 x16 PCIe slots that run at x16 or dual x8 or x8, x16, x16. A lot of overclocking possibilities.
Cons: Horrible BIOS and Hardware compatibility. I build machines for traders that use up to 12 screens so I like the machines to have fast PCIe speeds. I usually use a Gigabyte with around the same specs but Newegg was out so I gave this Mobo a try. I should of got the Gigabyte board from elsewhere. Do...
Summary: IM NOT BY ANYTHING MORE FROM ASUS BECAUSE THE SERVIVE ITS VERY VERY BAD

Cons: i have problem and i call customer service about my motherboard it dosnt work and i wait 45 min on the phone about what the problem and always says sorry the system computer was stoped, that is every time if u call MAYBE THE BOARD NOT FIX IN THE US MAYBE SEND TO CHINA AND AFTER SEND EMAIL TO RMA ...
Summary: I am now on my 3rd Maximus Exteme-z board. The first was DOA and the 2nd had a bad PCI-E slot. After about 2 months of use the USB 3.0 ports started to drop out and the Lucid Virtu would fail to load.
Pros: *Great for overclocking *Able to run 3 way sli/crossfire *Clean look with attractive red and black color scheme (for those that care about that sort of thing)
Summary: Hallo Interessenten!
