Summary: I chose this motherboard because I was rebuilding a very old PC and this MB would be perfect for features and cost. After I installed everything and booted my system I got an error message that wanted me to "Insert a Boot Disc".
Summary: called to get my RMA and see if they could help me at all. Guy told me its out of warranty so I could pay to get it fixed or just go buy a new on e 'Its not my problem " he said. I have asus everything and cant afford another mobo atm but I thought this would last more than a year.
Pros: -good OC - easy Bios -lots of ports
Cons: - ports stopped working -drivers weren't working -asus customer service was terrible
Summary: First off, the motherboard is great. When it worked it was wonderful. I love how easy it is to configure, it did everything i wanted. That being said.. It worked for two months.. then the sound simply broke. All audio ports produce static only.
Summary: Dead on arrival. This is the first time in eighteen years of building a lot of computers with different brands of motherboards that I got a dead one. I sent the thing back to Amazon for an exchange for the exact same one, so we will see how it preforms IF the new board can post to the BIOS.
Summary: this would be a great board if the product was stable and lasted
Pros: good board as long as it works plenty of usb 3 and pci ex slots
Cons: if this board goes down on you dont wast your time with a regular rma put up the temp. mony for a cross ship i have been doing the reg. rma and got back two dead boards its making me want to try another make this little down time hase been about 6-7 weeks now and coast alot of monney on other har...
Summary: FYI, if you have to RMA a board to ASUS (it was after the 30 day period for Newegg's RMA that I attempted this board's RMA), you have to pay shipping... AMD didn't require such a thing when I did the processor... imagine that!
Pros: Great board on paper... worked great for a week.
Cons: Died... RMA'd and got a dead board back. It refuses to post, and I can't figure out why. Tested PSU, RAM, even RMA'd the processor, to no avail. Disappointing actually, because I'm a long time ASUS customer (I have no less than three of their boards working around my house right now).
Summary: Customizeable board, only wish it would be consistent.
Pros: Fast board with plenty of USB ports. The auto overclocking feature is brain dead easy.
Cons: Had the board about a month and a half and it then would not post. I worked for about a week on it and it was never consistent. I had four, four gig dimms; so I removed two and it would boot for a day or two. Then it would not boot. According to the boot LEDs, it was the graphics card. Replaced t...
