Excerpt: The M5A99X EVO comes loaded with all the usual ASUS features such as UEFI bios and AI charger. It is by far a relatively cheaper buy compared to an ROG board but if your looking to encompass some of the same features, this would be a good board to grab. Currently ASUS has provided bios updates up to and including 8350 as well as the 1090t.
Summary: The MB has run just fine for the past several months...no problems at all. I'm not running a powerhouse of a system but it is doing an awesome job even with a middle of the line system. I'm running the following items: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHZ 1 GB DDR5 HDMI/DVI-I/DP PCI-Express Graphics Card 11201-17-20G Cooler Master Hyper N520 - CPU Cooler with Copper Base and 5 Heat Pipes (RR-920-N520-GP) Rosewill IEEE...
Summary: I used this board with the AMD FX-8350 cpu. It is extremely fast, and I can even stream large mkv files through my PS3. The audio on this board is also HD and will play DTS files. I knocked off one star because the SATA ports are sideways. Overall I am very pleased with this board. I bought 2 of these boards for 2 builds and both are running perfect.
Summary: Good Board. unfortunately I left it a PIN is USB 3.0 internal connector so it does not work. The board provides good facilities and connections, ofcourse is a mid-range motherboard, it's time to build more ASUS board with PCIE 3.0. Your workmanship is spectacular, pleasing and obvious quality. Recommended for new stakeholders in the PC Build.
Summary: I needed to get a computer put together fast and really didn't need the headache of a non-working board or small glitches that I would have to spend time working around. This board worked perfectly out of the box and I love the overclocking and fan control software that came with it. Very nice!
Summary: I'm admittedly a geek that isn't afraid to get in and build my own PC. This board is at the core of one hell of a system that plays the newest games at incredible speed and performance. It's got more bells and whistles than I'll likely ever use. I highly recommend it, contingent upon your reviewing the specs and ensuring that it meets your needs.
