Summary: The TPU switch is a great idea! The problem was, it underclocked my ram a bit, so I just went into the BIOS and bumped it back up, and the computer absolutely flies. It is a smart motherboard with tons of features. The AI suite software is nice, but it's a bit amateur looking. the UEFI BIOS is great!
Summary: This is my first ASUS motherboard and from what I have read is either you get a great motherboard or a terrible motherboard when you buy an ASUS. I have been fortunate in my builds when it comes to motherboards. It is better than my Asrock motherboard that had in my last build. The only issue that i had was that the bIOS had some issues posting.
Summary: Two PCI-e slots, four RAM slots, and one great motherboard. Don't worry about the color sceme, you won't see it anyway. It has plenty of USB ports and SATA connections. If you're even considering this, go ahead and pick it up.
Summary: Wow - what an awesome motherboard! This is, hands down, the smoothest install I've had. Heads up folks on a few items - 1, Windows 7 likely won't have an ethernet driver, but the included CD has one that will get you online. 2, if you're new to UEFI BIOS like I was, after your install, don't try to set your optical drive to be the first in the boot cycle - leave the UEFI partition as first/primary boot device!
Summary: I bought this motherboard to stay within my budget. After installing it I discovered features I had over looked. Easy to overclock with and the bios were the easiest to upgrade I have ever encountered. ASUS hit one out of the park with this board. I matched this board with an FX-8350 One word describes it AWESOME .
