Austin S., Newegg

  • Pros: Good for the price, plenty of features. I was even surprised that it came with SATA cables which was a nice bonus. Much faster than my old Biostar mobo.
  • Cons: None.

Overall a pretty good board but...

Corgi C, Amazon
19 June 2014
  • Summary: I had alot of overheating issues even with a liquid cpu cooler and several fans it still had alot of heat issues and frequently BSODS after playing a demanding game for an hour or more and makes it very frustrating. Ordered a Sabertooth 990FX and im hoping for much better results but i wouldnt recommend this board if you put a very heavy load on the system, dont have particularly good cooling, or if you overclock.

Fa SHo

Shinobi One Kinobi "Steven", Amazon
18 May 2014
  • Summary: Great board for overclocking, just need to learn how to best utilize what its strengths and weaknesses are. I recently got an M5A99FX and I like it way more. Still Asus will remain #1 in Motherboards. Service is another issue.

It works well

Alberto F., Amazon
14 May 2014
  • Summary: First pc build and its running like a charm. I don't have intentions of overclocking and it runs effortlessly. The only down side and possibly my oversight, since I didn't look into it, is the case has USB 3.0 ports but the board only has connections for USB 2.0 on it. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase.

Problems with Motherboard

Timothy McNeill, Amazon
28 April 2014
  • Summary: Had to send this back because it would not play any video content. I tried multiple PCI cards and then realized it was the board and not the PCI cards.

Working flawlessly... BUT! don't buy!

G.L., Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: First let me just say I bought this MoBo and it's working great 2 months in, I've had zero issues with it so far. The set up was a breeze. Here's the thing though, I regret my purchase greatly!. Simply because the non LE version of this is listed MSRP as only $10 more, but at this moment its about $6 more. For those $6 more you get some very good additions that I wish I knew about before I bought this. 1. VRM chip heatsink.
