Summary: solid caps,anti-surge,6 core capability, overclock-able, pci express 2.0 and a three year warranty was some of the main features why I purchased this board. some things that i dont like is it dont have a internal speaker that makes that annoying beeep beeep sound at start up to tell you when there a fault or system checks. and wish it had a ide for my older but perfectly fine dvd writer.
Summary: Great value for money. I bought this for my first PC build after looking at the reviews and it has been very good so far. I would say that it was a bummer that it doesn't have any external usb 3.0 ports for me to plug my front usb 3.0 into (it does come with usb 3.0 which are on the back of the motherboard so will be at the back of the PC). That is the only downside to this motherboard that I can see, but for the price I won't complain.
Summary: If you have a case with USB 3.0 ports, be prepared for a surprise. The motherboard has only two 3.0 ports located on the back panel. There is no way to connect front or top panel 3.0 ports to this motherboard. The only solution is to downgrade them to 2.0 through a converter. While you still have 3.0 on the back of Tower, they are hard to access and used mostly for things that don't require high speeds (like mouse or keyboard).
Summary: Great bundle for the price. Since I do mostly photo editing the big amount of memory makes things fly by. Small grip is I couldn't use my older cd writer as it has no slot for older style cable, just SATA only so had to nip and buy an external DVD drive as I couldn't wait to get it fired up. All in all a great bundle.
Summary: good board for price, but shows 1866mhz ram as 1666mhz with amd fx cpu, change all the settings still shows false reading, spec indicates is compatable but only with fx cpu otherwise default 1333mhz,others appear to have same probs if you google it,so if you want to run higher sporty ram then another board would prob be best
