Summary: I rated this 5 stars because it's great. It's good enough to use for simple tasks like browsing, accounting, and the assembly of it is simple. I like it because of its price and the quality. Using an AMD CPU, you already know it's more bang for your buck. I don't dislike it since I use it for simple work. I would recommend this for any office computer you're building.
Summary: Pros: This was purchased for use in an unRAID server I built for a client. The demands of unRAID are very low since it's basically a media storage tower. It's paired with the following: AMD Sempron 145 Sargas 2.8GHz Crucial 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 Power Supply I was interested in this board because it was low cost, includes 6 on-board SATA connections and 2 x PCIx slots.
Summary: Buy this board if you need to save cash on a low budget build but you should spend a few dollars more and get the "plus" verison of this motherboard. This board only supports cpu's up to 95watts. I'm not liking this board much for the price, No newer chip set or features but you know what youre getting to begin with. This board is NOT good for overclocking. After a short while an "overclock failed" message will always appear. Always! Also picky about memory speed.
Summary: Not sure what's up with this board, 1st few weeks OK with little use. Now having problems starting up. Get no display but system seems to be booting. Tried another Monitor. Have to clear CMOS and start over. Very random. Has latest BIOS. No add in cards. Standard BIOS setup. PSU Voltages OK. Win 7 memory test reports no problems. Not sure what to try now. I guess E-Mail ASUS ( if that's the problem ) but we all know what good that will do.
Summary: This is my first mobo and I am very pleased with the build I used it for. Very fast and responsive. Still being updated with the latest bios for the latest FX series. I have yet to install a graphic card on it just yet but will in time. The onboard gpu is pretty decent. It could be better with updates but w/e. I would recommend this board to anyone who is looking for a reliable cheap resposive fast mobo.
Pros: Good value for performance, i.e. SATA3 / USB3 / PCI 3.0
Cons: The board mal functions when you put a mid range graphics card in there. It can't handle the voltages and gives you ridiculous FPS in games. Steer clear of this board if you're doing anything other than browsing the internet.
Pros: Really good motherboard - does exactly what I need it for (win server 2k8) and also tested this with gaming and works brilliantly. No niggles, just remember to upgrade the firmware (i.e. Download before installing it).
Excerpt: I bought this for a new gaming build. It's got everything I need as I don't believe you need to spend £60+ on a Mobo for good gaming. I coupled it with 8gb G-Skill RAM, OCZ 60gb SSD, already had 2x2tb Samsung HDD that were really easy to setup in raid 1+0 and a 6950 2gb (bios flashed to 6970) - I pull 110+fps on SWTOR.
