Summary: I had always used these before as they were cheap, but now I can see why. The ASUS board is solid, reassuringly so. 'Problem is, the oldest one I have is three years; then unexplained errors and crashes. One earlier version even melted the solder of some SMD components around the CPU.
Summary: Only supports 8gb RAM (Must be 2x4gb, learnt that the hard way), there are cheaper motherboards out there that can support more RAM, I have this with an AMD Phenom II x4 965 processor and it works fine
Summary: It's an alright board but it does not support AMD FX4100 processor line, even though it's specifications clearly say it's supported. Phenom II work flawless, but i tried 2 identical FX4100 on 2 motherboards of this kind and they just will not boot.
Summary: Well deserves the 5 stars, good product that works with my AMD FX8350 straight out of the box! Not good if you have over clocking in mind, but perfect for the average user who doesn't want to over clock or SLI / Crossfire etc.....
Summary: the whole machine is truly responsive and whilst being a bit of a pain to set up once i worked out how to do things properly it was easy. i'd recommend you follow the instructions that are supplied with this motherboard !
Summary: just litterally fitted this in my pc and instantly wow is all i can say so far. i had a gigabyte and just the visual differance allready is amazing well worth the buy but ill update this in next few week to see how things are going
