Summary: this has been a good board for me so far. unlocked an athlon ii x3 455 to phenom ii x4 b55 (really an athlon ii x4 since no L3). have read other reviews about somewhat limited OC abilities, but who cares. if you want a good OCing board spend more money.
Pros: inexpesive lots of features for the price good support of am3 chips
Summary: for the price i paid wich was 30 bucks . really happy with purchase .
Pros: though i didnt get it from newegg . price is cheap but build quality is good . got it to replace my mobo that died on my hp6320 computer . mounting holes lined right up . unlocked 2mb of l3 cache on my phenom 820.oced my cpu to 3.5ghz temps never got pass 57c while using intelburn test 50 passes ...
Cons: if your into ocing to the extreme this is not the board for you . got my phenom 820 2.8ghz up to 3.5ghz on this baby anything higher it will not post . so if your looking for higher oc dont get this board. if your having trouble ocing drop down the ht mulit to 4x this board cant handle high ht fr...
Pros: This has everything a budget gamer could need in a board. Started up the first time and unlocked 2 cores on my X2 cpu. Overall I'm getting High performance and good Frames on all applications and games.
Summary: The bios interface on this board is useless it doesn't have half the features of other motherboards. I have used no name mother boards that are higher quality than this one that cost less. This build was supposed to be a Christmas present and now I'm stuck with it.
Cons: When I first bought this board the PCIE wouldn't work and I had just RMAd a different board. So I didn't want to go through that again considering the time and money I had already lost. I hung on to this board thinking I could use it for a family member with the on board video. the mother board w...
Summary: Newegg fast shipping made my first buy a great one.
Pros: I used this board for my first build, it's a nice board, has lots of features, I paired it up with PNY Optima 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 and it works great, I highly recommend this for first time users or anyone who is looking to start with an inexpensive build.
Cons: None so far, instructions are kind of vague but with some common sense, anyone can figure out, what goes where.
