Summary: I've had this board so long I can't remember when I bought it. I'd say i've had it at least 8 years give or take. I'm very knowledgeable but also quite lazy. With that said, i haven't taken caution with this board as I should have. It's been in 3 different cases in it's life.

2 November 2013
Summary: I purchased this board in February of 2010. The warranty ran out in February 2013. In October of 2013 I decided to upgrade my RAM from 4 gb to 8 gb (from two 2 gb sticks to 4 2 gb sticks). I soon found out that installing RAM in the B2 DIMM slot caused the computer to not post to the BIOS ...

Summary: MB works great if the system your using regular workstation. If you plan on using this MB for the backbone of a server, DON'T. This MB drivers don't support Windows Home Server OS, and you will be forced purchase addition cards for networking capabilities.
Summary: I bought this bord and at first it ran fantastic. then I started getting occasional blue screen of death stateing dumping memory. Im still working with tech support trying to convince them its their board and not operateing system as they claim. I replaced every pice of hardware in the tower.

Summary: This is now the second ASUS board I attempted to run with, the other board I had (M4A79 Deluxe), thought the problem was with my old MB that had the same chipset. Summary: Pricematched mine and got it for $120CAD, used it to unlock my Athlon 440 to a quad and OC to 3.6GHz. Plenty roomy, lots of SATA ports (for me), good video card placement if you choose to run dual GPU configs. Lots of BIOS options, good mobo for tweaking and overclocking.
Summary: PROS: great looking unlocked all 4 cores of my CPU bios was easy to use to overclock the cpu CONS: the bios hasn't been updated and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to play nice.
Summary: ... and i expected a lot from asus. It's stable. It runs win7 great. It runs games perfectly. It has awesome features, software that i didn't think i'd use. Tuning controls, overclocking utilities, and some pretty useless energy-saving throttling (do not use, you save so little by giving up so much...
Summary: The only problm with it is the lack of lights and neons, well its a main board, not a disco club, it does the job and a great job it is. The onboard sound is awesome, and got lots of config options.
