Summary: My system: M4A79XTD EVO PHENOM II X2 550BE(UNLOCKED TO PHENOM II X4 B50)@ 4GHZ 4gb G.Skill Ripjaw ram 7-7-7-18-24 2x GTX 460's in SLI
Pros: Great board! got it in May when it was 99 bucks! PROS:-Great look -8+2Phase vrms -VRM Cooling -Unlocks my PII 550BE to a B50BE with ease. -Can run 2 gtx 460s in sli using the SLI hack.
Cons: Doesnt make me coffee? In seriousness I took off an egg because the first one i got was DOA. got in contact with newegg and they replaced it within 2 days :) For a crossfire enabled board i was dissappointed that i didnt recieve a CF cable with it. Another CON... Doesnt support native SLI :(
Summary: An excellent premium board. All the features you could want, except no updates. ASUS has not released updated drivers for this board since its release. Both the audio and network have issues, yet there is no updated drivers for either.

Pros: My build using this board was easy. Everything worked the first time. I've been running this board for just over 7 months now with no problems. This is my second ASUS board that I have ever used, and my experience with both have been great.
Cons: If you use the 1066 memory, you have to manually set the BIOS to make it work properly. I had to do a little reading to understand what settings I should use. I like to plug and play, so that was a little annoying.
Pros: I have nothing bad to say about the board. Fired up first time w/ Win7.
Cons: I knocked off 1 egg because the enclosed CD and utilities were not up to date (the loader identified the OS as MCE and wouldn't go any further) ASUS support refused to ship out an updated CD. OK, a minor anoience but for 180$ american they could afford a stamp.
Summary: i do get display driver crashes with my 5770 with up to date drivers. i dunno if its the drivers or the mobo...kinda iffy about spending $ on a new mobo and not resolving the issue
Pros: tons of features, and OCability...holds lots of RAM and 4gpu's
Cons: for the people having boot and lock up issues. i had probs also..no signal, or mode not supported on startup...also the fans just running full blast for minutes....the auto settings in your bios do not set right. my cpu and ram voltages were too high with auto on...i had to manually set cpu to 1....
Summary: Explained in detail to tech support about this issue and twice I sent this board to them for REPLACEMENT and they returned the SAME board to me with nothing resolved!!!
Pros: Runs great when it runs....
Cons: Board ran fine until it stopped booting up. It will start and go into BIOS but when you save & exit, it won't boot into Windows. It just sits there with the fans spinning. Have to then clear cmos and unplug PSU to get it to restart into BIOS again.
