Summary: The motherboard works well for my home entertainment system. This was a used motherboard (business/commercial use) and came with NO backplate. I had to fabricate my own from aluminum flashing and aluminum foil tape. That was my only complaint.

Summary: Original packaged Asus board. It has replaced a blown board in a HP mid tower using a AMD X4. Ubuntu Ultimate Edition loves the board. One thing that was a challenge was getting the four wire cpu fan connector to regulate the fan speed.
Summary: I bought this motherboard a while back to replace my gigabyte version (exact same) of this. But the one I bought was used and had a memory issue. Other than that the motherboard actually runs everything very well.
Summary: This motherboard worked fine for about two months. Ultimately, machine wouldn't POST upon boot and indicated bad BIOS checksum. No problem with ASUS anti-crash BIOS right? Not quite. Loaded BIOS on USB drive and restored upon power-up. Update was successful.
The only GOOD AM2/AM2+ mATX motherboard left in the market
17 August 2011
Summary: Bought 2 of them. One for an old AMD Athlon X2 6000+ socket AM2, and another for an AMD Phenom 9xxx series socket AM2+. Needed this to replace an old broken HP PC motherboard and this was the only micro ATX with 4 RAM DIMMs left on the market for sockets AM2 and AM2+.
Summary: I got this motherboard as an upgrade to a (not Asus) motherboard I suspected of being faulty, so it is being used with older hardware. Works great with my AMD Phenom II X3 3.0GHz and 4GB of Crucial DDR2 800 RAM.
