Summary: My rig: Phenom II X4 3.6GHz MSI 7970 12GB 1333 Sandisk Ultra 120GB SSD XFX 550W Modded old school Antec Sonata II case
Pros: I have owned this board for about 7 months and it still does everything I need it to. Unlocked dual core Phenom II black to quad successfully and stably without issue as well under Win7 64bit and overclocked to 3.6GHz as well. Handles the stress of BF3 like a champ. Great feature set and layout.
Cons: ACHI mode is difficult to get working for my Sandisk Ultra SSD. It does not want to recognize the drive like my ASRock Extreme3Gen3 will in ACHI mode, forcing me to use IDE mode and thus lowers my performance. Not a huge issue, but still a legitimate gripe.
Summary: i have a Cooler Master HAF912 ATX case with 5 cooler master fans!!! I have kept it as cool as 32'C!!! my rig: ASUS M4A78LT-M Cooler Master HAF912 ATX case Kingston HyperX 2GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) 3 200mm Cooler Master fans 2 120mm Cooler Master fans Seagate 500gb HDD...
Pros: i thought i would wait 6 months before i made any comment on this board! lets just say, ive had no issues!! im running the Phenom IIx6 1090t thuban!! the board had delivered wat was promised!!
Summary: Keep in mind the board is smaller if your using a full tower you will have to move some brass screw receivers. also if you using IDE drives the board only has 1 IDE port so you might want to invest in SATA drives as I did.
Pros: so far great board, very easy to install. booted right up.
