Summary: Works greate... Used for building a system with AMD Phenome 1090T, 8 GB ram, 1 TB HDD. To be used as development machine. All the six cores are working good. I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit Operating System (Shaved $100+ microsoft dollars). OS downloaded and installed ATX drivers automatically. Onboard HDMI, video out is working fine. I haven't over clocked it till now, eventhough there is a provision to do it.
Summary: Rarely do motherboards simply work the first time everything is plugged in, but this one certainly did. Current BIOS version has no problem with my newer Phenom chip, 8G RAM sticks, and Win7 x64. Everything simply works exactly as you would expect. For those who do not absolutely need USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb, this is a cheaper alternative to the nearly identical 890GX boards.
great motherboard for unlocking cores and overclocking

Summary: This is a really great board and it seems that a lot of Asus boards can easily unlock cores. All you need to do is press 4 when the setup screen comes up and it unlocks all available cores. I unlocked a quadcore with this and overclocked the cpu to 3.8ghz as well without changing voltage! This was a bit pricey though, I bought a cheaper Asus motherboard for another build and it did the job too.
Summary: I just bought this board and it keeeps crashing. I have a AMD Phenom 11 965, 4 gig corsear runs for 1 hour and locks up? What gives? I just found out the problem if you have this board and chip you need to update your bios to #3401.Works very well after that....
Summary: A great motherboard with a good on-board gpu. It can handle all my games at decent frame rates at high settings. Supports my AMD Phenom x4 695 and 2 2gb DRR3 1600 ram out of the box. It has great on-board hd sound with support up to 7.1 setting.
Summary: I bough this motherboard and it is working flawlessly. Its integrated video card is not the best of the market but for the price you pay for it, it is great! I could run most of my favorite games on it with decent configuration and resolution. Sound quality is good but not great, I will put a better one in the PCI slot. Talking about slots, they are very nice because of the space that you have to fit PCI-Express video cards on it.
Summary: Paired it with an AMD Phenom II x4 processor and 4G DDR3 memory. Connected it to a HDTV to watch movies... had no issues so far Pros: - Good documentation - BIOS can be updated easily if you have an internet connection - HDMI 1080p - Multichannel audio Cons: - none
